Hook Burger

Very disappointed with this burger. I could not taste the bun. It is so flat. The bacon seemed old. And it just didn’t taste fresh. Also, I took the food straight home so there was no sitting around for it. And the fries were nothing special and almost $5. So I think I’m done. Just not worth it. I will say that the young man who helped me was fabulous. This was 11/7/25 for dinner.

First time at Hook Burger tonight, and I’m glad I wandered in after shopping at Target. I was about to head into Panda Express, but this place caught my eye.

I was greeted by Luke, who couldn’t have been nicer. Since I’d never been before, he walked me through the menu, pointed out the Hickory Burger as their most popular, and shared that his personal favorite is the California Burger. I went with the California because caramelized onions and fresh avocado were calling my name. Added fries and a passion unsweetened iced tea to round it out.

Ordering is quick: place it up front, grab a number, and take a seat. Even on a Saturday night, there was plenty of seating and my food came out quickly. Luke personally brought my meal over, made sure I had everything I needed, and even offered sauces. I went with ranch and chipotle mayo which were perfect for dipping my fries.

The food was great, but what stood out to me was the customer service. Luke and another team member stopped by my table mid-meal just to check in, which you don’t always see at fast-casual spots. They also have three TVs playing sports. The whole experience felt welcoming and effortless.

Great food, even better service. I’ll definitely be back.

One of the best Hamburgers if you live in southern Cali. Wish we had it in the Bay Area. If you love The Habit burger you’ll love this place. Hamburgers were amazing!

Good burger but a bit pricey for what you get

Had a great experience. Had a turkey burger with garlic aioli. Very yummy 😋 the staff very friendly an polite. Nice and clean restaurant. I will be back!

I stopped by Nook Burger in Santa Clarita in hopes to find a good Turkey Burger for lunch. I was greeted by Daniela who was amazing. I loved her smile and energy. She assured me, it was a good burger and she was absolutely correct. The burger was Delicious. I had a wonderful lunch. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. I will be back!

French Fries: Good, think Wendy’s but better

Side of Pickles: Very Good, I like pickles.

One bite of Hook Burger: pretty good.

While on the way to Carmel by the Sea I was craving a burger with barbecue sauce in it. My first instinct was Wendy’s but that didn’t quite work out. This place had 4.5 stars so it’s obvious you should give it a shot.

There were a few small hiccups. They prepared my order for Dine In when it was meant to be To Go. Also asked for extra pickles verbally and didn’t get it. This was extra saddening since the pickles were delicious. Though it should be noted I only tipped about $2 on $35 (Not a fan of tipping, sue me)

Other than that,- consider this a good place to stop to hit that burger spot.

Fantastic food, great service, and cool atmosphere. The burger I got was amazing, and there’s a choice on the menu for everyone. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying, Luke was one of the most friendly and helpful employees I have ever come across at a restaurant. He gave great recommendations, checked on us numerous times and overall provided a service you can no longer find. The food was amazing and the sweet ladies in the kitchen were also so nice. It’s crazy because it was my co worker and I’s first time, and we both mentioned how overly friendly everyone was. It’s just hard to find a restaurant where you are treated with family. I applaud the management team, for running a well operation. Luke, you are the man and had a lasting impact on us. If I lived in the area, I would frequent more often for sure. Great salads and the onion rings were great

As a burger lover I was ecstatic to have a big juicy burger. The service in taking my order was helpful and sweet. But if you get a burger, fries and coke it jumps from. A 10 dollar burger to a 20 dollar meal. I chose to just get a drink and burger which was $15... when I got the burger it looked so small to me that I was immediately saddened...when I took a bite I could absolutely taste the quality of the meat and it was juicy. However, I could taste the grill on the outside of the meat and Again I was saddened as it's not one of my favorite flavors. I finished my food and was still hungry. A burger here is definitely not enough and I'm not a big female.

For how much a meal costs it seems like it should be fancier but I have to admit I wasn't upset with the ambiance. It just doesn't fit the high price.

The food is average for a restaurant of this type. Tried getting delivered, will not do that again. The quality changes when dining in, just depends on what time of day that you go.
