Larsen's is great for a special treat or occasion and tasty food, if albeit on the higher end cost-wise. But not without good reason: shareable appetizers and aged steaks 😋. I had the 8 oz dry aged filet. My wife had Chilean sea bass. We shared the Brussels sprouts and finished off splitting their signature butter cake for dessert. All of it was 🧑‍🍳😘 (especially the dessert which I had never had before).

We celebrated our anniversary at Larsen's in Valencia, and were pleasantly surprised after our last dining experience there in April, which was only OK. This time, we were seated in a booth at the back of the restaurant with a table that was actually large enough for the dinner plates and serving platters to fit on the table. Next, we had the most awesome server, Craig, who was knowledgeable, thoughtful and checked on us the perfect amount. We started with calamari and shared a Caesar salad. Both were delicious. My husband had the ribeye and I had the filet mignon, and both were cooked to the perfect temperature/doneness. The complimentary bananas Foster butter cake was a great finish to this excellent dining experience, We will look forward to our next visit and will definitely ask to be seated in Craig's section.

Food and drink quality has gone down. Returning more drinks than usual. They need their old Bartendars back

Craig was a great server, and the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We didn't love her waiter. He was not engaged at all. He has us twice if we had eaten there before and left us for a little while without any bread to eat. I saw other tables getting bread while they had their menus , before ordering. The big highlights of the night was the assistant manager whose name I do not recall and Aubrey who might be bussing tables, but she seriously should be a waitress there. She is personable, knowledgeable, and attentive.

My Filet Mignon was tough. I ordered an 8 oz and I got a 6 oz. When I asked about it, I was told that is their 8 oz. What a ripoff because it is definitely a 6 oz, the server obviously did not want to correct it. The baked potato barely have any toppings on it. Bad dining experience overall.

Excellent Food! Filet Mignon was so tender and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Got a little loud but room was full. Very satisfying meal. Will be returning...

Asked for med rare got med well. Server was good. Even if they had cooked the steak correctly, I'm not convinced it would've been anything special.

We had steak, lobster & scallops. Price was $120.00 a plate. Lobster was rubberie and toooo salty. Steak was good, scallops were so so. I paid $370.00 final bill and I felt robbed. There are better restaurants for a lot less. I expected better.

First time here and I must say the ambience was amazing! The pianist playing by the door, dimly lit, very classy and elegant. Celebrated a birthday which was great but unfortunately one of the steaks we ordered was underwhelming. I asked for medium well and it was well-done and also did not have much flavor. The broccolini was 10/10, had much more flavor than the steak which was slightly disappointing. Also the lady who was bringing the water to our table, Spilled almost half the glass on the table over our bread and never apologized or came back to clean it up. She saw it and just shook her hands off with the water and walked away. We didn't make a big deal about it but the bread was wet. Our server was great, knowledgeable about the menu and suggested some great options. We had the best seat in the house. We got complimentary birthday desert, which was decadent and delicious. Overall, 8/10. Would come back!

As always, a wonderful dining experience. The food is incomparable and the service outstanding. The very definition of fine dining.

Our server Andrew was great very kind and attentive.

However, I will say going to an establishment that is coined as a more premium experience you have a higher expectation overall.

It took quite a while for someone to greet us once we were seated. We eventually had a young lady come up and offer us water. It was long enough though to where I actually told my wife if someone doesn’t come up in 60 seconds we are going across the street to Salt Creek.

My wife had the Jidori Chicken which was so dry you could barely cut through it. I didn’t believe her and tried myself and it was quite shocking. Gordon Ramsey wouldn’t have even entertained taking one more bite.

We also shared the jalepeno Mac n cheese which was outstanding. The flavor, texture, and quality was amazing.

I had the 8 oz filet raw which was cooked to perfection and I couldn’t have asked for a better steak.

Overall, it had the unfortunate reality of living up to the stereotypical Santa Clarita restaurant. A mid experience and worth it to drive a little further out of town if you’re going to pay for a quality meal.

The food was very good, but not worth the money.

Christian is attentive, patient, understanding and accommodating! For our first experience I am very happy with the ambiance, service and food even when the steak was well done vs medium as then the waiter offered another steak. We took the dessert option instead and will be back again this summer and other occasions for sure.
