Pleasant, consistent food, great happy hour, great piano playing. We started with negronis and Martinis. We had the caprese salad which was fabulous and the sauteed mushrooms along with the ribeye steak. We couldn't be happier. One of the best steakhouses we've been to on the West Coast.

We had an amazingly kind and charismatic waiter, Elias. Definitely ensured our evening was special with consistent attentiveness and upscale service. Their Sunday special sliced steak with mushroom sauce was way overpriced for what it was. It was good but not great and certainly not worth $150. Stick to the $94 Ribeye instead. Drinks are ok, too. Excellent ambiance but food is definitely overpriced.

I had a wedge salad chopped with blue cheese dressing. Very little bacon and just not very good tasting. My wife had the petite filet mignon and she said it was just ok. Our cocktails were both very good. I had an old fashion with woodford reserve. my wife had a lemon drop. overall for $230 plus tip I probably will not return.

Lovely place but didn't like the loud Nirvana grudge type music blasting and playing at 6:00 pm in an establishment as such. . Should be mild mew age soft jazz or classic.

The way that every table has their own lamp, it provides for an intimate setting. I went for my birthday and absolutely will go again! Perfect for any special occasion, romantic and to enjoy fine cuisine.
The cook was as-requested for the meats and you HAVE to try the Oyster Rockerfeller. The fresh sourdough bread to start, absolutely Devine. Added bonus, dipping the bread in the Rockerfeller. Pictured, lobster double mashed potatoes and Oyster rockerfeller

The lobster was delicious and my husband said his steak “melted in his mouth”. The anniversary dessert was delicious. My husband never eats dessert right after a meal but he couldn't stop after the first bite and we devoured it.

Love this place for Happy Hour! Probably the best place in town. The ambiance is the best. The bar area is wonderful. But, we noticed that our regular server was not there. Probably a day off? But, when we asked about his whereabouts, blank stares.🤷‍♀️ Anyway, very low on help, service was the worst we’ve ever experienced. Had to send my drink back, asked for vodka martini, after waiting quite a bit, received a gin martini! Ugh. When received the second one still did not taste right. You could tell something was off, one bartender, seemed overwhelmed. Definitely not enough help in the bar area. Oh well, just an off day. We will be going back, like I said wonderful ambiance. Food delicious. Love the piano man, Eric!

The food itself was good, and our waiter was genuinely fun, so credit where it’s due. That said, the overall experience just didn’t match the price point. For a dinner that ended up over $400 for two, we expected a lot more polish.

One steak ordered medium came out very rare, bread service was delayed, and to top it off, we found two fruit flies in a drink. The way that was handled felt dismissive rather than apologetic, which left a sour note on the evening.

At this level, small missteps add up quickly, and these aren’t the kind of distractions you want when paying for a fine dining experience. There are other restaurants in this price range that offer a smoother, more refined night out. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I came here for my first time in an attempt to plan a special night for me and my partner. Unfortunately, my chair was broken, I couldn't move the seat out because the tables are spaced too closely together, it was uncomfortable loud, half of the food came out almost warm, the steak tasted less satisfying than the steak I make at home (but cost $60-$80 more), and no one came to refill our water/wine.

Disappointed in the high expense for a below mediocre experience.

This was our second time at Larsen's and it will absolutely be our last! First the nose level was more like a night club to the point we could barely understand each other across our small table. Then the service...... or really the total lack of service, lack of etiquette, lack of manners. This is no longer a fine dinning experience but an overpriced Denny's. Having to ask multiple times for a bread plate as my son did not have one was the start and it went downhill fast from there. We were not even done with our salads and they were placing the steaks on the table. The check was given to us at the same time as our desserts. It was a literal race to get us feed and out the door. Then lets talk about the (and yes I counted) 15 staff members who walked by our table and did not stop to fill my water cup, the only drink I had; for the last 25 minutes of our diner. Were they upset that I did not order alcohol or wine? The tables next to us that were going through liquor like it was water were expertly attended too. What an utter disgrace to be treated in this manner.

We loved everything, our drinks, food, and service exceptional. We will definitely go back. The only complaint is when we received our bill, it only gave an option of 20%. Our server may have received it if he didn't stand over us while we paid the bill and if it weren't already on our bill. The meal was pricey and we just felt like we ‘had to' give that 20%.
