They were out of rolls (sub sandwich type) for sandwiches.. If you wanted those kind of sandwiches you had to order on either a hamburger bun, sourdough bread, white or wheat bread. One waiter for the restaurant and he was also during the job of busboy, and helping in kitchen it seemed. Basically wasn't around to refill drinks or to order more items.
