First let me start this off by mentioning how FURIOUS I was when I left the hub yesterday. I ordered my food inside and waited an hour to finally receive it. I was like super mad... I even asked the cashier to let the owner of MGF know how angry and annoyed I was LOL. I was complaining the whole way home that I would never go back. Let me tell you something though.. My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time. Thank you for the amazing meal tho.

Ordered in from this restaurant tonight and everything is OUTSTANDING. We got the 8pc chicken meal with the potato salad, mac and cheese, beans, yams, and cornbread. I am so thrilled to have found a soul food restaurant with such great food - and at an affordable price! Will definitely be adding Mississippi Georgia Fried to our regular rotation of restaurants!

BEST SOUL FOOD AROUND BY FAR!! The food is absolutely OFF THE CHAIN! We got the catfish and shrimp Cali combo, with Mac and Cheese. Also got the greens, yams, and green beans. All fire!!! And to top it all off, we got some of the peach cobbler.... Freakin Amazing! We'll definitely be back... again... and again...

Ok so let's start from the beginning, was browsing DoorDash after arriving at my hotel fresh off a 7 hour drive from Scottsdale... Uggh DD options were trash so switched to Postmates and found this place (not on DD btw) and thought why not, I mean who doesn't love gravy smothered fried pork chops, Mac n cheese, baked beans and cornbread? I will list my thoughts individually on each item I ordered. 1. Mac n Cheese... you have ruined this dish for forever, never again will I be able to eat this at any other restaurant, outstanding flavor, texture, cheese blend, and seasoning, by far the best I've had!!! 2. Pork chops... I ordered these gravy on the side for 2 reasons, I like my pork chops crispy not soggy and most people can't make a solid onion brown gravy however these folks did it and did it perfectly. My PC was tender, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The gravy was very flavorful, the proper consistency and was simply OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!! 3. Baked beans... solid in flavor however I ate so much of the other items that I didn't try it until I was already full but the spoonful I had was very good. 4. Corn bread.... Wow, that's all I can say. Sweet, moist and tender, outstanding however they didn't send any butter which for me is a must, no worries though, I went downstairs and bribed the front desk clerk for some butter. Lip smacking good. Do whatever you have to do to eat their food, if you're disappointed in any way then my guess is you think Taco Bell is authentic Mexican food, this place is top notch Southern style cooking, I will be eating here several more times.

MGF catered our work event for Black History Month and let me tell you, I need to visit in person regularly! The food was absolutely incredible even once delivered and waiting for a bit. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned, the fried chicken was crispy and moist inside. You cannot go wrong ordering from here! They managed to feed around 50 employees and did it flawlessly.

Best soul food in SCV for sure! And just good soul food all around (my husband agrees and he is from the south. We got the fried chicken and it was very crunchy. Some pieces could use slightly more flavor but still very flavorful overall. We also got the yams and they were so good! Best yams I've ever had. The mac and cheese was also very delicious, especially the crunchy cheesy parts. Some parts didn't have as much cheese and those parts were okay but overall very solid Mac and cheese and also one of the best I've had! The corn bread was pretty good. I would definitely return!! Food was ready on time!

Valentine's Day gave us a great excuse to try something new, and we landed at "The Hub" for a soul food adventure at Mississippi Georgia Fried. It was a bit of a surprise for us, expecting a traditional sit-down spot and finding ourselves in a modern pick-up hub instead. But let me walk you through our experience, which was pretty cool once we got the hang of it. First Impressions: "The Hub" isn't your usual restaurant; it's more like a food court on steroids with around 10 different kitchens cooking up a storm. We were a bit lost at first, but the folks there were super helpful, showing us how to order from the kiosk and explaining how the whole system works. They were really friendly and patient, which was a big plus. The Food: Let's talk about the main event - the food. My husband went for the salmon with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, and he couldn't stop raving about the mac and cheese. I opted for the fried cajun catfish with collards and yams. The catfish and collards were on the saltier side for my taste, but those yams were just perfect. Oh, and you've got to try the hush puppies - seriously, they're the best I've ever had. A Few Heads-ups: We weren't expecting to wait 20-25 minutes for our food, but now we know better. Next time, we're definitely ordering online for a quick pick-up. I ordered through GrubHub and was very pleased with the delivery. The food was delicious and still warm when I got it. I got the catfish nuggets,fried shrimp with mac and cheese and green beans. Tasted just as good as my momma. I'll definitely be ordering from here again, because it's just that good.

My roommate and I ordered from Grubhub, so I can't say anything for their service, but their food....holy crap. The most delicious food that I have ever had. We had their fried chicken, Mac n cheese, cabbage, and corn bread and all were divine, godlike, delicious, scrumptious, transcendent...I could go on. All I know is that we will be ordering again to try EVERYTHING!

First time trying Mississippi Georgia Fried and it did not disappoint! It's obviously pretty hard to find any soul food here in the SCV. My husband and son loved it as well. Great quality and tasteful, from the food to the sides and the cobbler!
