Food was good. Pretzel was delicious. Waitress was really nice but we had to keep waving her down for service. High tables are really small and not much space for your plates. Overall, I'd go again but it's not anything super special.

Wrote a note asking for mimosas to be brought to the table when we sat down for a surprise on our anniversary. Knowing the notes aren't always read on the reservation, I went ahead of my husband and asked the host if she could help set this up. She told me “when you sit down you can ask the server”. Like what?? I asked if she could help communicate with the server because that would take away from the surprise if I did it in front of my husband when the server greets us at the table. She repeated that I should talk to the server when we're seated. How bizarre. I gave up at this point. When we sat down, she approached the table and said they don't have champagne and we can always order a mimosa??? I was confused. By this time there's no surprise and honestly, I'm irritated at this point. So I said no thanks and to forget the whole thing. Honestly, not gonna keep arguing about mimosas lol. Then she said we can always do a cheesecake for anniversaries. I politely declined. Like Why are we still talking about all this in front of my husband lol. Anyway, the food was good though and our server was friendly and attentive. We just ordered the mimosas together with our server and my husband pretended to be surprised lol.

Didn't have enough servers for the Thanksgiving Eve crowd. Super slow. They messed up the reservation and we were then put in the side room where they closed the doors so we couldn't hear the music. Not craving to come back
The mocktail was delicious! The bar keep was nice. I hated that my properly cooked steak, med rare, was covered in a sauce that was of a weird texture and it tasted of nothing really. The sauce just looked like baby’s spit up. The steak needed salt. The fries were advertised as garlic parsley but tasted of neither. I think if the steak had a chimichurri and not this weird sauce the meal would have been better. Skip it.

Had a great experience at Newhall Refinery Restaurant. Our waiter was Stephen and he was great! I had halibut fish and chips absolutely delicious and my girlfriend had an impossible burger and she loved it can't say enough about this restaurant it is our first time coming here

Really disappointed with how we were treated today by I think Marina. We asked if there were any specials she abruptly told us they don’t have any. We asked what was what was popular, we weren’t really told anything. When she checked in I told her that the burger had abolish cheese I couldn’t eat it. She said oh well i guess it’s cheesy! I said could we don’t something about it to the point she look annoyed! In any case not sure we will be returning service is terrible.

My first visit to this cute Lil spot. Found out it was one of my friend's faves, her & her husband's.. I simply went because I got an insert in the mail, for 15.00 lunch & the pics looked good..lol. Steve made it easy for a 1st timer. 😀 I went with the Refinery Fries (minus most of the brisket off the top) w/ Ranch as a dipping sauce. & Fish n chips w/ tarter.. it was All pretty good.. Good music & food, good chill & chat spot... I WILL COME BK AGAIN FOR THE BEIGNETS & ICE CREAM... [I'm a southern, Real Louisiana woman, hopefully they are on point]
