Had a great experience at Newhall Refinery Restaurant. Our waiter was Stephen and he was great! I had halibut fish and chips absolutely delicious and my girlfriend had an impossible burger and she loved it can't say enough about this restaurant it is our first time coming here

Really disappointed with how we were treated today by I think Marina. We asked if there were any specials she abruptly told us they don’t have any. We asked what was what was popular, we weren’t really told anything. When she checked in I told her that the burger had abolish cheese I couldn’t eat it. She said oh well i guess it’s cheesy! I said could we don’t something about it to the point she look annoyed! In any case not sure we will be returning service is terrible.

My first visit to this cute Lil spot. Found out it was one of my friend's faves, her & her husband's.. I simply went because I got an insert in the mail, for 15.00 lunch & the pics looked good..lol. Steve made it easy for a 1st timer. 😀 I went with the Refinery Fries (minus most of the brisket off the top) w/ Ranch as a dipping sauce. & Fish n chips w/ tarter.. it was All pretty good.. Good music & food, good chill & chat spot... I WILL COME BK AGAIN FOR THE BEIGNETS & ICE CREAM... [I'm a southern, Real Louisiana woman, hopefully they are on point]

Service was extremely slow — it took 45 minutes just to get our drinks. The servers and bartenders seemed exhausted and disengaged. The food was average, and I wouldn't return unless they brought in some fresh, energized staff.

I don't consider myself a foodie, but I do know when something tastes good. I never thought I'd say the best Philly cheesesteak I've had so far, would be in Santa Clarita, California... but it is, and it was here. Delicious!

We ordered the cheese board and the Philly. We were expecting a wide variety of cheese but we felt a bit dissapointed since there were only three slices of cheese and the rest was nuts and fruit. We made a comment to the waitress since she asked us how it was. 2 minutes later, one member of the kitchen staff came out and brought another plate with plenty of cheese, which was ok, but the same type of cheese. The Philly was really yummy, we shared it because it was too much. The staff were really kind and adviced us very nicely, clarifying the difference between some dishes, telling us about the ingredients and giving opinion too. The place had a great athmosphere. All in all, we had a great experience and we would recommend this place.

Went here passing through town. Its 70 miles away from home and we joke about going. The refinery fries are a must, and the burgers are so flavorful! The bacon jam on the smash burger os beyond 😋 👌
I was there last night with a friend of mine and we sat outside and it was just beautiful. We had the charcuterie tray and some wine and everything was great. Highly recommend this on the another beautiful night.
