Okawa Sushi & Ramen

The store itself felt a little empty decoration wise. They had one waitress working, but she was very attentive. Each table had tablets(ours lost charge) where you could order everything. It's great especially if you are introverted or indecisive and need extra time. If you prefer, they do also have regular menus. The food itself was amazing. They brought every thing out fairly quickly. I highly recommend the shishido peppers for an appetizer. Definitely coming again.

I go solo during weekday happy hour 2-5pm which isn't busy and plenty of 4 seat tables available then too. Food is great, 1/2 off draft pints for $3, $4.50 for the 34 Oz giant mug.

Ramen wasn't amazing, wasn't bad. Sushi was dry as if it was sitting all day. Spicy edamame had probably one of the tastiest sauces I've tried but the edamame was ridiculously dry too!! To put me over the edge i was given an expired soda. I ordered through grubhub so I wasn't able to just replace it. Contacted them directly. They were receptive but had to leave an honest review. No refund available from them directly if ordered through grubhub. Won't be returning. Go elsewhere.

This place is Booooomb!! Branden is the sushi craftsman and knows what he’s doing!! You can keep it simple or get complicated, that’s what I like about this place. Super friendly staff and you might get lucky and meet your neighbor Austin the owner. He’s local and if you’re like me that’s how I like to spend my hard earned cash. Treat yourself and feel good about not wasting it!!

The food was amazing, I really don't care for ordering things on a tablet, makes it feel like a cheap diner, and the tablet kept glitching making ordering even more annoying. The waiter was nice but very unhelpful, I had to grab my napkins, chop sticks myself. The food is pricey however definitely worth the price.

This Sushi place has a B rating from the Health Department.
No excuse for that.

The restaurant provided no service, and the food was awful. I was dealing with low blood sugar and menstrual cramps. After picking up some painkillers at CVS, I stumbled upon a ramen shop nearby. I was relieved to finally get some food to help with my low blood sugar, but once inside, no one served me. The waiter, a boy who seemed to be Korean, was very friendly to the other locals, offering water to every table except mine. It made me wonder, could he be racist against Asians, or even Chinese people, despite being Asian himself? Why would he discriminate against fellow citizens? Or is it just a bias against Chinese people specifically?

I had painkillers on the table, yet he didn’t seem to notice I was in discomfort when he brought my food. He didn’t offer me water either, even though he was serving others. I placed my own glass on the table, but he didn’t ask if I needed a refill or if there was already water in my glass. I didn’t have the energy to argue with him; I just wanted to eat and take my medicine.

When I finally dug in, the ramen was disappointing. The sushi rice was hard and tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, and I’ll never return.

Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth fish. I love this place. I've been back a few times now. The service is amazing. The Spicy Miso Tonkatsu is so good.

Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian sushi combo for a great deal. Comes with miso soup and small salad.
