Love Piccola Trattoria!!! Our favorite Italian restaurant in SCV!!! My wife lived in Roma for 15 years and this is a close as you can get to authentic Italian meals!!

Fabulous food and ambiance. Dining out is expensive everywhere but we don't mind when the entire meal is delicious and the experience is lovely. And...it's not as pricey as restaurants we've been to and had bad meals. I highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous! The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and not too loud.

Love this place! Great food and ambience. Went for dinner 3/8/25 around 7:15pm. Waiter didn’t get to our table until 15 minutes later and didn’t even apologize for making us wait. Bearded guy. Took forever to get our drinks. Bread delicious. Ordered appetizer and the food came shorty after receiving appetizer. Not cool. The only issue with the dinner was that the carrots were very undercooked. Hard to even cut. After the waiter dropped off the check, he came back to take it and I didn’t even have a chance to look at the bill. Usually you can tell when a client is ready to pay if the credit card is visible. Other than that, it was a great meal! Cool those carrots more!!!

My wife had linguine with clams which she says is the best she's had anywhere, I had the Bolognese, which is always fantastic. We top it off with one of their fantastic desserts, and a cappuccino.

Food and service were amazing. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to.

Not very impressed with the taste of the food. They need to do better.
