Great beers and pizza đ. Worth checking out
10/10 for the fish and chips. Staff is friendly and attentive. Weâll be back to watch the football games.
Racism!!!I incredibly disappointing. Iâve never never been spoken this way in the past! Never going back
Great beer and a fun atmosphere, especially on Wednesday trivia night! Staff are super friendly as well!
Disappointed by the lack of hospitality
I visited today and was really disappointed by the experience. When I asked for a splash (a small taste) of a beer I was interested in before committing to a full pour, I was told they donât offer that and that Iâd have to purchase a 3oz pour instead.
Having worked in the beer industry for years and visited countless breweries, this was the first time Iâve encountered a place unwilling to offer a tiny sample to help a customer decide. Itâs a small gesture that makes a big difference, especially when youâre exploring a new tap list.
The space itself was nice, but this policy made the visit feel unwelcoming. I hope they reconsider their approach â a good beer experience should be just as much about hospitality as it is about whatâs in . I declined to have a beer here.
I really wanted to like Pocock Brewing Company, but I left frustratedâand it had nothing to do with the beer.
When it came time to pay, I was shocked to see the default tip set at 25%, with options that go even higher, into the 30% range. No visible or easy way to tip less. Thatâs not generosityâthatâs a quiet attempt at fleecing customers who just wanted a simple night out.
I fully understand that businesses in the U.S. often donât pay service industry workers a living wage, and tips are part of how staff make ends meet. But Pocock Brewing Companyâs approach isnât about fairness or supportâitâs about pressure. Itâs manipulative, sad, and out of touch.
When a business starts the conversation at 25% and only moves up, it sends a clear message: theyâve lost perspective on what everyday people can or should be expected to pay.
If youâre trying to build community and loyalty, this is not how you do it. Do better.
Great brew great music
Great beer and good food. Itâs an order at the bar kind of place. Lots of beers on tap. Food options are good sandwiches, pizza, etc (pub food). Outside patio seating was nice but itâs right on a street. Great place overall
I chose to come here to wait out traffic. I was looking for something hoppy and when they didn't have the style I was looking for, I was offered a suggestion between a double IPA and a Honey Pale Ale. I was curious about whether or not the Honey Pale Ale was going to be too sweet for my preference, so I asked if I could taste it before buying some pints. I was kind of surprised when the bartender said that they don't do tasters and that a full 4oz tasters must be purchased.
The management should adjust the apparent policy of no samples. I'm no stranger to the beer industry, I've worked in breweries and bars for 13 years. I understand the volatility of the current market and how spillage adds up. I also understand that given the opportunity, there are customers who will taste everything on the menu before making a decision. So, I get why such a policy exists.
The bartender did a good job. I've just never worked at or been to a brewery where they didn't let someone sample something they were curious about, and I'm just posting this in hopes that the management will become aware of how people feel.
We are regulars. They let us sit for 1.5 hours after ordering food and having 3 rounds of drinks to realize that the kitchen never got the order placed. Fine mistakes happen but only refunding the food not received isnât right we would not have sat in the cold drinking more without food. Poor service is an understatement for tonight not to mention I closed out on a total including food for a tip and that wasnât taken into the refund equationâŠ.

Food is awesome, ambient noise is acceptable for a conversation and the beer selection is great
Nice atmosphere, but their pizza is terrible. I paid $24 for a pizza I actually left behind, it was so bad. Their base dough is unremarkable for the price. They were also out of SO many key ingredients at 6pm on a Saturday. How does that happen? (Poor management.) We won't be returning.
Really enjoyed visiting while in town! Very good beers and excellent pizza (and pretzel too). Will definitely come back when I get a chance.
Kid friendly. Arcade games inside, many tvs.
What a great location! Food was delicious and the beer was excellent. Great staff, friendly and very attentive. We will definately be coming back.
