Deep Sea | The Original Poke

Don’t know what happened to the quality of this place. Ever since the owners changed the quality of food is not as fresh and they’re rationing. I tried to ask for some extra garlic ponzu and they said that they don’t give any extra. Wth is that. The staff is rude and dismissive. Be careful if you get miso to go. The lids do not fit, they just fall off if you tap it, and miso will spill everywhere. It amazes me that they do not have lids that fit for to go containers, especially for soup.

I love this place, the poke is good and they give you extras like miso and seaweed. The miso is usually pretty good but sometimes is a little too salty but I forgive it because it's a great place in every other way and every time the owner is the one to build my bowl I feel that they place special attention to details and they offer other possibilities with things like sauces and sesame oil. Great place to get poke.

We're regular customers and while the product is good, the turnover is awful which makes for really inconsistent service. My husband brought home a bowl for me today and it's basically a kids meal. The 2 other servers were giving realistic portions and the newer person that helped him was giving the smallest portions possible without a slap in the face. Come on, really? Read the room. It's one thing to give reasonable portions, but less than half of the usual? Lame.. Might have to try the new guy across the street...
