Lukewarm whipped cream and cheap syrup flavoring, what a joke. Skip this place and spend your money on something decent. Calling this custard is embarrassing.

The custard is great and we'll always go here cuz it's a family favorite but I'm really disappointed in the the employees here lately. I understand it's an entry level job and it's cool that the owners only hire teens but these kids need to pay attention to orders. Most of them lack customer service skills, knowledge of the allergy menu and most recently the ability to get a delivery order correct. I've been ordering delivery lately and the order has been messed up 3 times in a row. For example today, Reese's peanut butter cup mudslide sundae came without the peanut butter sauce....the other day the order was totally wrong. I received a shake when it's not what I ordered. The time before this the order was also missing ingredients. These aren't unusual requests made in comments either. These are ingredients that are written as part of the dessert. Out of the 3 mistakes, I only called on the 2nd error to complain and the kid gave what felt was the least enthusiastic apology I could have imagined. I understand mistakes happen and sometimes this place is really busy. But it's January guys. It's not the middle of summer at peak hours. It's not off the chain busy. There's no excuse not to be capable of reading the menu item ingredients of an order. It's 3 steps. Custard and a couple toppings. They can't do that right. These kids need to get it together.

Yummy Italian ice mixed with delicious frozen custard. A favorite for my family including my 6-year-old who loves the cotton candy one the best. I wish they would have cherry on stock, but I saw it only one time in 2 years! Luckily all the other flavors deliver on flavor, so I barely miss the cherry:)

I'm super mad that the only Rita's near me closed. However, I was happy to stumble on this one when killing time in the area. The shaved ice gives me brain freeze, but it is worth the pain. That is no ordinary soft serve either, theirs is definitely extra.

The ice cream is awesome and has a really great texture. Coming from someone who lives 5 minutes away I come here a lot and it’s the best ice cream bye far in this area. One thing that could be better is cleaning up more. The floor is very sticky. The tables are also the same thing. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Overall the whole 2 years I have been living near Rita’s it has been the best ice cream I’ve ever tried. I really recommend going here.

This place is outrageous. Fantastic selection of yummy decisions. Fresh and creamy. Im lucky this place is a drive away or else this could be a daily thing. Service is ok. The merchant service could use an upgrade. One of my favorite places.

This is the only Rita's standing close by. Too bad the Northridge location and all the others in the valley closed. This place brought back so much good memories of when I use to take my kids to Rita's for an after school or weekend treat. My brother raved about Rita's in SCV. He took me here one weekend and it's been so long since I had Rita's. They are known for the Italian Ice served with vanilla custard called the Gelati. The creaminess of the custard with the smooth texture of the Italian ice hits the spot. it's such a great combo. So good. If shave ice and soft serve had a baby, it's a Gelati! (LOL) To be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed by how many flavors they had. I ordered the Mango Gelati and it was refreshing. Back in the day, all I remember was getting the Cherry flavor. I don't think they had other flavors back then. If you don't care for a Gelati. They have other options. Like milkshakes, Blendini Misto Shake or just frozen custard. This location is quaint, old school ice cream parlor vibe. Friendly staff. Limited seating. My brother tells me this place gets pretty busy during the summer. Small parking lot tucked in a mini corner plaza along Bouquet Canyon.

Their soft serve frozen custard here is delicious . It's a chain so it not a small batch/ home made kind of thing. There are tie ins with brands like Reese's and Oreos etc so not everything is going to be all natural. Having said that.... The frozen custard is really good and you can choose to top it with whatever you want and /or pair it with Italian ice..... flavored with whatever you want. Service was good...fast Clean place Seats to hang out inside if you don't want to eat while walking . Plenty of parking (parking lot)

I love Rita's way too much. Frozen spun custard is made from dreams. I have to stop myself from coming here. I'd be a jelly belly full of custard for life. Matter of fact I'm gonna go order one now and () into it because it's so good. Get the concrete.
That frozen vanilla custard might be the best thing I've ever eaten. The texture is perfectly creamy and intriguingly fluffy. You can't stop after the first bite.

First time experiencing Italian ice. I am huge fan of frozen custard. Rita's serves both tasty treats Italian Ice & Frozen Custard. It was a great way to cool off today. They serve chocolate and vanilla Frozen custard and many different flavors of Italian ice. There is something for all ages. The Staff suggested that we mix the two types of cold treats. We will definitely return to try something else in the near future.

I loved it! If you plan to visit this I have to compliment you on having great taste!I layered Mango, green apple, and red sour patch kids in one cup.I had the vanilla custard too, creamy and tasted like real vanilla.

The best Italian ice and custard combo I experienced. Good combo and refreshing. We tried the cotton candy and mango flavored Italian ice, and both flavors were delicious! The mango was a little sweet&tart but compliments with the custard. The cotton candy was perfect!
