When you're in town visiting family, and want reliable honest food at reasonable prices, with great service and attention even during a busy period. I rarely place a review, unless I think the food and service were impeccable. The Lazy Dog (Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita CA) didn't disappoint. Family of 6... Our Greeters, Servers Ricardo, Amanda and Vanessa, Bar Tender Alec and even the Manager Jeff. Thank You soo much for a great experience. Always attentive, even during a busy time. Food was also great. Can't fault the cleanliness either... Soo Al in all a well deserved 5 Stars. Thank you.

It was our second time at Lazy Dog...chains are not our first choice, but this one really does it right and has a nice variety of vegetarian options too! This time around I had the Sweet & Spicy Bowl choosing Tofu as my protein and White Rice. This was really tasty. I loved the steamed, but hearty and coated tofu...lots of flavor and a good sized portion too. On my first trip I had the Nashville Hot Portobello which was truly a delight and another generous plate of food that approximated a southern "Nashville Hot" chicken dinner. There is more to choose from for vegetarians including a blackbean based veggie burger and "Spaghetti Squash and Beetballs" (I'm not so much a fan of squash-based pasta...but I know some of you are, so get excited.) There's a ton of drinks to choose from including house cocktails, spirits, beers and more. Really fun atmosphere too. I definitely recommend making a reservation if you can as the place fills up quickly on weekends and the wait is long. Well be back.

I have always enjoyed Lazy Dog but hadn't been there (or any restaurant except for take-out) for months. I read their menu online and was intrigued by their offering of frozen t.v. dinners. It was hard to decide (they all looked yummy!) , but I settled on 2 fried chicken (breasts) and 2 pot roast dinners. Each comes with two large pieces of protein, a vegetable, potatoes and a dessert. We are seniors so we don't have huge appetites, but I expected we'd each eat one and save the other 2 in the freezer for another time. WRONG! The portions are so generous that we were able to share one dinner and come away from the table very satisfied. This is not your typical t.v. dinner. It is prepared by Lazy Dog, using their delicious food and then frozen. The dinners are $10 each or 4 for $30. Delivery was free because the order met the $25 minimum. And delivery was fast! Jonathan had it here in less than 20 minutes! I was very impressed with the service and the food!
