Decent burger, but incredibly overpriced meal when you add fries, about $21 for burger and fries. Poor value. Kids meal at $12 plus $3 for a soda, wow. Won’t be going back.
Hands down the best burgers in SCV!The staff is always so friendly and they make awesome drinks. Parking is free and so easy in the structure too!
Really happy with the updates too food, vibe and especially craft cocktails this place did with the move. Hopefully they'll get dog friendly outdoor seating soon like the last spot!
We went to Rustic Burger’s new location in Newhall and loved the atmosphere and food.
It's a foodie renaissance in Old Town Newhall and the latest addition is Rustic Burger House! My wife, son and I had an earlyish Friday night dinner and were the among the first in the room which filled up fairly quickly after we arrived. We were excited to have another gastropub / burger joint with vegetarian options and that we could sub a Beyond Meat burger for any of their creative burger options. Honestly I tend to prefer the Impossible burger, but what I was served was probably the best prepared Beyond patty I'd had (and believe me I've made the rounds...) Perfectly charred on the outside and not overcooked on the inside (which is so easy to do with these types of burgers....Served in a fantastic brioche bun (sadly they were out of the pretzel bun which we wanted to try) with brie, arugula and a sweet element. (Maybe fig?) It was really delicious. My gluten free wife got here's lettuce wrapped and it was a bun sized whole head of lettuce wrapped around that thing. Okay probably too much lettuce for the size of our heads, but it was impressive looking. And our son enjoyed his somewhat plain Beyond Burger a lot too.An order of the house fries from the shareable menu was plenty for the three of us (we took some home!) so if you're wondering if it'll do the trick or you should each get your own side...if there's three of you the one shareable portion will probably do it.They have amazing looking shakes on the menu which they weren't quite ready to serve on the night we were there. (new restaurant). But do yourself a favor and glance at the pics of them on your website...Artists created at least the visuals of these shakes. We'll be back to put those in our mouths.Well done Rustic Burger House! You made three vegetarians (one of who is also gluten free) very happy.
Old Town Newhall lands another gem with Rustic Burger House. First, the handcrafted cocktails may be the best in SCV. Get their Old Fashioned smoked- it is amazing and one of the top 3 I have ordered in my life- and I have ordered many! Corra the bartender knows her stuff! They also have a Mexican cocktail served in a terracotta crock (name escapes me) that is not only a work of art to look at, but delicious. The food is delicious, and the shareable fries and tots will easily feed a table of 6. The chili fries are incredible. The atmosphere and interior decor are really interesting and welcoming. Oh, and have fun trying to find the front door as it is a bit hidden. It is kind of fun sitting inside, looking out the widows and watching people outside walk around trying to figure it out. I hear they are adding some signage on the door which will sadly will put an end to the fun. We can’t wait to return!
Friendly staff, but limited. No host, just told to sit whereever. I liked the decor, but it felt like a library as there was no music playing and no tvs on. This is really important especially when you are pretty much the only people in the restaurant. We had to ask them to put music on. Also had to ask for napkins, utensils, salt and pepper. Feels like they are mainly a to-go place. We tried the Farm burger and Super Mushroom burger. Both disappointing. Small amount of cheap mushrooms, and only one strip of thin, cheap bacon. For a $14-16 burger with no sides, the toppings need to be high quality and plentiful. The burger itself was fairly bland and unseasoned. The meat was decent quality, but nothing ‘gourmet’. Again, would have liked a higher quality meat blend at least.Berry Blitz cocktail was $13. On the large size, but very watery and cheap. Not good.Sweet Potato fries were great! Would just go with the sharable fries and beer if we came back.
Actually wanted to take grandson to car show last weekend. Maps had me goin n circle. Not cool. Does this place really exist??
What an overall great experience to eat here. My 11yr old son and I stopped by after visiting the Saugus Speedway Swapmeet. We ordered the Rustic Burger which was super delicious and the classic Ceasar salad with extra parmesan. They drowned that salad in parmesan, we were in heaven. The waitress was very attentive with a great smile. After our meal, we walked over to the pond area and watched the ducks and turtles before going home to West L.A. Couldnt be happier spending quality time with my son talking about life.
THOSE SHAKES, my goodness. Huge and decadent and delicious. You can’t pass Valencia without a stop at Rustic, you just can’t. Excellent food, drink, and locale.I love the variety of things they show on the TVs - they run sports, esports, movies and more. Always something to look at here, when you’re not wolfing down the monstrous menu.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere!! Great staff!! We will definitely become regulars, now that we’ve discovered it!!!
Rustic Burger is the place to go for a rustic yet gourmet burgers! The menu has a variety of appetizers and shareable fries. We ordered the chili cheese fries and forgot to take a picture. However, my husband ordered the Rustic Chili Burger and said it was a 9/10! The chili is definitely a hearty chili and the burger was very flavorful and was proper portion of burger to bun. I ordered the Fig’N Brie Burger. It was flavored exactly to what I would have imagined with Brie cheese and a fig sauce/jam on the burger. Definitely would come back!
Meat patty was good, but burger seemed a bit dry to be honest, staff are friendly and prompt however. If you're looking to just try some craft beers this the place, but I'd stick to just the fries. Burgers are hyped up more than what you think. If I was to go back would give chili fries a chance. Will update if I go again.
First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. The burger was a lil big for me but it was good. I will be eating here again. The burger patties are pretty big so if you are really hungry it'll do it for you. The fries are also good.
I went back here for the first time in forever, and I don't know why I had stayed away. It was so good. Pretty big portions, so don't get scared of the prices. If you see something odd on the menu and want to try it, then go for it. They have unique selections that don't disappoint. I will be back with my friends, for sure.
