This review is long overdue. Schooners is arguably my favorite casual bar of all time. It’s big and open with plenty of seating, and there are TV’s everywhere so everyone who wants to come and watch sports will have a good view of the action. The menu is huge and the food is some of the best bar food I’ve ever had, made even better by the new owner, Todd. Which brings me to my next point. Todd is just a great guy. Love this place. Totally a vibe and has great deals on drinks and food everyday. If I lived in area I would be here all the time. Servers were great and they took good care of us and everything was tasty. The Bloody Mary deal is amazing and then lunch specials were great too. Definitely coming back if I’m in the area.
Real nice bar. The good selection is great. The food quality is sometimes good, but mostly okay. They have a decent happy hour. The main attraction is the Schooner's glasses that they serve the draft beer in. Also, smoking is permitted in the patio area, so if you want to have a smoke or a cigar, this place is a good option. The wait staff for the most part are polite, however on several occasions, our party had trouble getting the waitress to take our orders.
