Real nice bar. The good selection is great. The food quality is sometimes good, but mostly okay. They have a decent happy hour. The main attraction is the Schooner's glasses that they serve the draft beer in. Also, smoking is permitted in the patio area, so if you want to have a smoke or a cigar, this place is a good option. The wait staff for the most part are polite, however on several occasions, our party had trouble getting the waitress to take our orders.
On a budget and want a fantastic meal? Go to Schooner's for their express lunch. Plenty to eat at a low, low price. The food was exceptional. French fries were perfect! The best I've had in a long time. Extra bonus, they automatically serve ranch with the fries. Bam! Love the basket of condiments they bring to the table, it included tartar sauce, huge bonus for me. I met with a couple of friends for the hockey game and had the carnitas tacos and unfortunately I woke up at 1 am with really bad heartburn. But went back on Tuesday for the Dodgers game and had the turkey club with fries and no heartburn this time
