solita Tacos & Margaritas

Service was excellent. From our server to the hostess. Food needs to be worked on. Nachos we ordered was barely warm. It should come out on the hot side after the cheese is melted. We ordered grilled fish tacos which were OK. Our friend did not like her dish which was a naked burrito bowl. Drinks were excellent. My tamarind margarita was very good.

I used to love Solita, but I really feel like the food quality has gone downhill. Everything was so greasy. The chips. The tacos. It didn't used to be this way so I'm not sure what happened. Very disappointing. I most likely will not go back.

They seated us when we arrived and our server Brandon was spectacular. He quickly brought us drinks and gave us time to check the menu. Food was great and just a very enjoyable dining experience.

Solita is at the top of my list for Mexican restaurants in Santa Clarita, and it has a really great selection of tequila!!

Overall this is a very good restaurant. Prices are a bit high, but nothing is cheap anymore. Wait staff was polite and very attentive. The restaurant just lacks a certain vibe, but maybe on a Friday night, it's different than midweek. Will definitely come back!

My family and I traveled from out of state and made a reservation weeks in advance, expecting a welcoming dining experience. Unfortunately, every part of our visit was a letdown. Unwelcoming host: We politely asked to be seated in a well-lit area, but the request was treated as a burden instead of a simple accommodation. Unprofessional service: Our server was visibly irritated, disengaged, and inattentive. She didn’t seem familiar with the menu and responded to questions with shrugs and attitude. Incorrect drink orders: We requested mocktails with no ice — not only were they served with ice, but the “solution” was simply removing the cubes and handing us back the same watered-down drinks. Lack of basic cleanliness: After a spill at our table, we had to clean it ourselves with napkins. When we asked for help, we were told, “I’ll do it after taking your order,” and the mess was left untouched. The entire atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. We ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere — somewhere our presence, time, and money would actually be appreciated. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience. This place is our go to place on the weekend. Service is great, food quality and temperature in the spot and the service is to par. Their specialty cocktails shouldn't be missed. Have one or two with your meal.

Solita is one of our favorite restaurants. Delicious food and drinks, great management, great service, fun atmosphere. I have food allergies and the team always takes great care of me - this is one of our go to restaurants. Brunch, lunch, or dinner - yum!

Solita is my go to Mexican restaurant In Valencia. Great service, good food. I always love the Elote here. Tacos are great too. Right at the Valencia mall. I have been here more than 7 times and also have invited friends here on several occasions.

Solitas is not the place you want to use for a big party. I made a reservation for 23 adults 2 children's. I was charged in advance 50.00 dollars a person plus 20% gratuity. Management had only 1 server to attend my guest. Food and drinks came late 3 of my guest couldn't wait. The server was a nice guy to bad he didn't get the support. NEVER again will I use this place for any event.
