We have been going to Stonefire for years. The quality of the food, the taste of the food has gone down so bad, that now we no longer want to go there! So sad! The prices go up, the portions go down and the flavor and quality has diminished. (Cheap ingredients now). No longer can we refer them!

It’s been several months since I’ve been to Stonefire Grill. Mainly because the quality hasn’t been the same since Covid. Today I took a chance and ordered my usual, shareable South of the Border salad with a 1/2 pint of extra dressing. It costs $20.99 + $3 for the dressing. It use to feed 3 adult people with a good size helping & even had some left over for the hungriest person. Today, I’ll be lucky if it feeds 2! There’s actually empty space in the container where it “use” to be filled all the way to the top. The chicken is so minimal, I can’t imagine why it’s called “shareable” unless you’re feeding small kids. The prices went up but the portions got smaller. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Today we decided to dine in, normally we order to go. Upon ordering, William wasn't very engaging but gave off a vibe as if we were not welcomed. After ordering my family & I found a table, the Caucasian man at the table in front of us immediately picked up his food & moved far away from us, as if we had a disease. As he was moving, he gave us a very unpleasant stare as if we did not belong in the restaurant. Moments after that, the waiter brought our side of salad & breadsticks, and his demeanor was cold, and nonchalant. There was a dull & uncomfortable vibe in the restaurant amongst staff & customers. My husband is Caucasian mixed, I'm black, and our child is biracial toddler. My husband said he noticed the dirty, and snarly looks we were receiving from staff & a few customers, who were predominantly white.
We moved to the outside patio, hoping to have relief from sitting in the indoor dining room. Few moments later, the waiter brought our food. We decided we were not going to stay, due to the stares we were receiving from customers. The waiter brought us to go packages, and we packed up & went home. That was pretty sad. We've had stonefire catered to our wedding, plus referred colleagues & family to support Stonefire Grill. We've visited the Chatsworth, Pasadena & Long Beach locations, that's how much we love Stonefire. But the Valencia location was awful. We ordered the meal deal that costs $35, and after adding additional items we spent about $60. Once we begin to eat our food at home, we notice our salad was incorrect. We ordered BBQ chopped chicken salad, and the restaurant gave us the regular house salad. What a bummer, especially after that poor experience, and the price we spent. It's just the principle of the entire experience we've never encountered until today. We agreed we'll probably not be returning to the Cinema Drive location. I understand racism is still a very prominent issue in this country, but to make someone or people fell less than just because of the color of their skin is diabolical. Shame on you Stonefire & it's customers.
Vegetarian options: They have veggie options available, but you can always ask for the meat on the side and give it to your friend or ask for substitutions.

the worst food they have made for pickup . chicken tasted like plastic meet was unseasoned either an was disgusting. i bought 4 chickens and tri tip for 350$ and they all tasted like trash and had to throw them away. very disappointed in you stone fire definitely not coming back

Such a disappointment. Turned away our catering order because they have no way of taking payment over the phone, even though they've taken this payment form every single year for Christmas. We get this food all the time but this is a major gap in service.
