The food here was really bad, no taste and found many objects in the food that was not food including some not clean vegetables.
Food I ordered
1. Wet burrito with beef.
This was not bad but it was too salty. I did enjoy the wet salsa verde. The meat was not bad but the vegetables were not clean and found left over stems.
2. Nachos plate ( chicken )
I did not like the food, no taste… must be a Santa Clarita thing. Food has no taste here! The chips were burnt too.
3. Burrito ( pastor )
This was the worst food or pork meat I ever had. I just threw the whole thing in the trash. That’s all you need to know.

Long time Newhall resident, first time eating at this restaurant.
I heard the tacos were good, and they are. But I should have just got those. I ordered the $30 combo fajitas which was a mistake. They were just ok, nothing special. Steak overcooked and dry, shrimp fully shelled so you need to peal to put into a little self made taco, and the rice was not flavorful at all.
The tacos, on the other hand, were good. At $3.75 each, I should have ordered 6 for me and my wife and we would have been happy and full for less than $23.
We also should have skipped the soda. The first batch was flat so they had to change out the tanks. Got the sodas much later and didn't even get a refill. No big deal, but at $4.25 each, seems like a waste. Way too expensive for fountain soda, so maybe just needed to stick with water.
Lastly, I asked for more tortillas, specifically 1 or 2 more, and they brought 4 and charged $3.99. Not worth it and sort of wrong when Don Cuco or Darios gives you extra for free.
Also, our friends had the pineapple drink which has a $2.99 refill. Not sure if this is standard at other Mexican spots.
Anyway, we'll probably go back, but just for tacos and water only. Be full and get out with a $30 bill, including tip.

I ordered the California burrito and tacos al pastor via Uber Eats, and both were outstanding! Hands down --- the best I tried around town. The burrito was packed with tender, flavorful meat, creamy guac, and crispy potatoes, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted homemade tortilla. The tacos al pastor were equally delicious, with juicy, smoky pork, fresh onions, cilantro, and a touch of sweetness from the pineapple. Both dishes were fresh, satisfying, and full of authentic flavors—definitely worth trying!
I recently had a very disappointing experience at Tacos Burritos El Pato in Newhall. While the food smells good, the taste is far from it. After eating there, both my wife and I ended up with food poisoning and had to be hospitalized. If you value your stomach, I highly recommend avoiding this place.
On top of the health issues, the service was horrible. We were double charged for items, and it felt like no one was paying attention to our concerns. I’m left wondering if the owner will even try to make things right after this terrible experience.
