Teriyaki Rice Express

Looks like some piasas took it over and are running it to the ground! The food is horrific! No taste they drown it with who knows what ... with a bunch of cabbage... do not spend your money there! Horrible

Yeah, food was decent but service was terrible. I went in to pick up an order and mentioned that I thought the price of a bowl was incorrect. I think the owner overheard me and said he doesn’t have bowls online? Clearly I’m a pick up so I saw your menu online! how else would I know that you have bowl?? he insisted on telling me that bowls are only in store, and I don’t even know why he interrupted to tell me this? I proceeded to tell him that he should fix his online menu because bowls are listed on his online menu… it was just unnecessarily called for.. I wouldn’t come back if this guy is the owner

This place is amazing. Ever since the sarupuku, Japan, or whatever it was called. In the mall has changed ownership or some thing. Their rice taste horrible. This place is way better and replace them on my list for teriyaki chicken with veggies and rice and the rest. Amazing food and cheap prices. Great amount of food. I usually get the chicken, shrimp, veggies, and rice. Only like 1350 or $14. The other place charged way more for shrimp add on, and they give not as much. I’m glad this place came up. The only negative I have is that I was sweating in there. There was no AC blasting or anything but it doesn’t matter much because I take out. But I gave it for the five stars out of atmosphere because of that only for the people who do eatin restaurant.

I called them to place an order. #6 but please Shrimp on the side. Because my wife is allergic. They said Yes but cook said NO. I told them I would pay for the extra container. NO never going again.

This place is good. I went today for the first time and I like it. It reminded me of Edo Japan from back in the day in the glendale galleia.

I’m a producer of an indie film shooting in Santa Clarita and I had to make a big order for our crew (25 people). I was looking for meals that were both fulfilling, affordable and most importantly, fast.Going with Teriyaki Rice Express was the best decision I’ve made in a while. Not only was the food fulfilling, it was fantastic. Everyone absolutely loved it and immediately asked for more portions.The service was amazing as well. When I went there alone to pick up 25 portions, one of the workers kindly helped me load all of them into my car with such care and patience. The food was all labeled and packaged well leaving no spill at all even after the drive.I don’t normally leave google reviews, but I felt the urge to do so on this one. Definite 5 stars and highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a good old teriyaki.

Good food, though a bit $$$Update: Be sure to call ahead, sometimes you can sit for 20 mins in the lobby even when you see no one “in line”.

Great little find here! Been here 4x thus far. Generous proportions, doesn't gouge you in price like most other places do now and great food! Simple menu. I'll keep coming back! Oh, and staff SO friendly. Total win!

The food is delicious, personally I love teriyaki when it's not too sweet like those other places. I definitely reccomend this place, be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes, the chef's make everything FRESH!!

This place has excellent flavor and the portions are exceptional for the price you pay. Will definitely be coming back!

The food was really good and tasty. Ohhhh and costumer service was great, it’s a nice and quiet place which I think is so amazing. I highly recommend this place!!
