That Saugus Steak is an amazing dinner! Salad, then the bacon wrapped steak. Veggies, potato, rice, fries are some of the options for the 2 sides. And yummy garlic toast. The steak was delicious, the veggies cooked nicely. And afters? A cup of ice cream. With sodas, we totalled out under $70. Same as Sizzler nowadays, and far more delicious. Plus eating in a cool historic site. Waitress was super friendly, other patrons also happy to be there. Great oldies playing, we all sang along to some primo hits! We return for a pleasant dinner often, even though it's a half hour drive from home.

The food is just not good. The history is great but you can cook better food at home.
It's your classic diner with the upside off an attached bar. Laid back small town vibe so service not the the fastest. Bring you mountain time persona and all is well.
Food is open to central diner food with all the fixings you could ask for. I had a little trouble with the dish I ordered but that was resolved in a retry.
We will definitely be back.

Found this place via Instagram. Unfortunately, the history behind it just didn't save it. The food was subpar at best though the mens restroom was super clean, which is a huge plus

For my 1st time visit, I wanted to be amazed….but wasn’t!!! Onion rings half cooked and a “small” side of coleslaw $4.85! Seriously, it was like a half a cup. Ruben sandwich, up charge for onion rings and the side of coleslaw…$28.00 bucks! Will not be back…

You get a fairly good portion for the prices, and the food is yummy. Great place for breakfast, I recommend the huevos con chorizo.
