Loved this little diner. It was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. The waiters were friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to order. Our waiter was very accommodating to my order as well. It was quiet and clean, and there was plenty of seating inside. I'm not sure how it gets on the weekends as we went during the week.

GREAT HISTORY. Fun to go here. Service was great and with a smile. I really wanted to have a great breakfast and praise this place. I can't in good conscience. I ordered the eggs benedict and it came with the benedict split. I could have sent it back but if the cook sent it out obviously split, he clearly does not know how to make a benedict and I would only then have his ire along with another split benedict. My colleague ordered biscuits with gravy. I LOVE biscuits with sausage gravy. The gravy, however, was runny and the combination was disgusting. I hate to say that and hate to be this harsh with this review, however, I nearly spit out the single bite I had. Oldest restaurant in Los Angeles County but it is not good at this point. Hopefully that changes but for now, I recommend you find somewhere else for breakfast.

I really came because it's one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles County. And it has ambiance in spades. It's what you want from a breakfast diner type place. Lots of booths, and a great counter where you can sit and watch the waiters work. I can't say the food was the best (it was average) but I had a very straight-forward waitress (it would have only been more perfect if her name was Flo and she was popping gum and had a pen behind her ear) and a hard working bus boy. Come for the history and ambiance, just don't expect the world of the food.

Hung out with my friends and had brunch here. It is truly amazing how this cafe/diner withstood the test of time for over a century. Love the vibes of a classic diner and the historical items and info when you are inside. Got myself the corned beef hash. It is my go-to, and they did a solid delicious corned beef hash. I found it interesting that it came in a loaf slice. Not a complaint, just a fun observation. I would recommend checking this spot if you like American diners and/or historical landmarks.

Order delivery, served us a burnt omelette, and some watered down fruit. Don't think I'll return.

We came on a Monday, so there was no wait time for us, and luckily when we arrived it wasn’t so busy, but within no time we noticed this place got busy quickly. Our breakfast orders came in a great wait time. About 15 mins. Our server was very friendly and gave us some background on the restaurant, which we enjoyed knowing some history to this place. The food was very tasteful. The older man that came to our table refilling our coffee cups was very attentive.Enjoyed the feeling of this old vintage dining atmosphere. Recommend this place, and would love visiting again.

I really hate to give them this rate but we were in there last weekend and the waitress there an older gal really nice and talkative and let me reiterate we have never had any issues here with the exception of the place not being super clean but never any issues with the food. But the waitress was really sick we knew this because she was sniffling, wiping and told us she was sick! She was putting sanitizer on but man we didn't feel comfortable with her serving our food it was kind of gross! I wish someone would have told her to go home and get better

My wife and I love this small town cafe. It feels very homey to us. We try to drop in whenever we are in Santa Clarita
