This was absolutely worst service I have ever had. At 3pm on a Thursday afternoon with only two tables of people and I'm supposed to wait 20 minutes to be seated? Then after we were seated, another ten minutes to even get our drink order. We had to ask three times for utensils after our food arrived and ended up just having to steal them from other tables. We ordered two rainbow rolls and when they arrived were prepared wildly differently, one completely drenched in sauce and the other dry as a bone. Then we had to ask for our miso soup that had been forgotten and didn't come until we were already mostly finished. And, of course, it was cold. As if it had been left out instead of brought to the table. Which wouldn't surprise me because the three employees working the two tables of customers decided to cluster at the front to chat and look at their phones. We very nearly got up and left because I couldn't get anyone to bring us our check, which was mischarged and took another long while to get someone to fix it. I will not be returning here.

To be honest I love coming to this place . But today's experience was something else. I ordered my food waited a long wait for it. When they brought it out it was taking to the wrong table !!! Server pick it up and then brought it to my table for me to eat after the guest one the other table had put her chopsticks on it. He said here this one is your the only reason I know she did was because I was on thetable next to them. Like wtf really !!!!!!

Placed an order for pick up and it took over an hour and a half. People behind the counter were rude when asked about it. When asked for extra condiments after finally did getting the food they ignored. Also messed up an order but I didn’t ask for it to be fixed because I was done dealing with the back and forth and getting nowhere….

The sushi was okay, but the cucumber soju cocktail I ordered was an offensively bad flavor and color. Just look at this photo of it. I get they're combining Mexican with Japanese, but you can do much better than this.

This is an update. We went back to this place, even though we had said we would never go there again. THIS time we walked in and they told us that even though the restaurant was mostly empty they would not be taking our order for 20 minute because they were just too busy. We went ahead and stayed. We sat at the table for 20 minutes they finally came and took our order. The food took in excess of 25 minutes to get to us. They raised their prices and STILL play mexican disco music at full blast. Why they are still in business is a mystery. IF you get your food, the quality can be generally ok but the service is beyond terrible, the attitude is worse. We have sworn off this restaurant for the third and final time. See ya!

I'm not sure why this spot has such a low rating. I've been coming to this spot for at least eight years and it's always been consistent. Consistency is one of the hardest things to accomplish in a restaurant. I always order sushi and one of the rolls and I have never been disappointed. The sushi honestly is better than most spots in SCV. The albacore here is my favorite. The rolls are great too. The service has always been attentive and friendly. I sit at the bar and the guys that serve me have always made my experience not only friendly, but accommodating. They put soccer on for me, or a dodger game. I have zero complaints about this place. I've eaten a lot of sushi and I feel like some people think that bigger portions equal better quality, which is absolutely not true. The fish and ingredients are fresh here and that's what I'm paying for. The music is always on point in here too.

This place was amazing! The food was really good although i did have to wait a bit but it was understandable since there were a lot of tables. My server was very helpful and overall had a great experience! I have come here a lot and there are rarely ever issues, everyone who complains on here is impatient! Overall 9/10 experience and will definitely keep coming!!

We won't come back to this place ....the rice from the sushi was dry and hard, as if it was in the fridge. They charged us $16 for a chicken teriyaki roll... also we got charged $10 for "leftovers" because we didn't eat the cold and hard rice shrimp TEMPURA roll....Do not waste your money.

Allot smaller than the one in Sylmar but food is just as good. What I didn't like was that they charge you for spicy Mayo which never happened at Sylmar

Was gonna try this place. I walked in myself and my 2 kids (5,7 years old).I wasn’t greeted at all. Then I got a table, a piece of paper and pencil with no explanation whatsoever. The only price it was shown is for adult all you can eat $29.9 but make sure you don’t leave leftover and don’t share with your kids. No kids price. Menu price is only online visible. Website didn’t work in my phone. Then waitress said start slow because you can’t have leftovers and no share with kids otherwise they will get charged for the full AYCE price. No ingredients, no amount is listed on that piece of paper I got. No price. Just the name of the sushi which I suppose to know what is that. After 5-10 minutes of wondering what and how to order waitress said it will be minimum 30 minutes to get something or more time since they are busy (in a Monday at 2pm, 40% occupancy)I left.I don’t like the unfriendly atmosphere and a no price and a long wait. I don’t like they have no kids price.Never return or try this place.

Last time I come to Xevichez! The food is great no complaints about that. Found out they had AYCE in the Valencia location again. It was my husband, self and my 4 year old. We both did ayce and got my daughter a bowl of rice cause she doesn’t eat sushi. When our bill came they charged my daughter for AYCE and I asked our waitress liseth, she said because she had a bite of a shrimp tempura she had to be charged for the full price of AYCE plus her bowl of rice. I am very disappointed because I been a long time customer and never had to deal with a situation like today!!
