I've been wanting to try this place for so long, and I'm kicking myself for not going sooner! The service, food, cocktails, and vibe were great. I thought the server who waited on us was so kind and lovely, she was 10/10!

It is all that and then some. Truly a wonderful evening experience. Our waiter Jose what's so polite and attentive. It was all so delicious.

Food and service always good but was disappointed by the pricing of a prix fixe meal we had last week. @$55/person for a collection of 6 tapas the quantity was pretty minimal for the price.

Love this restaurant. Family friendly earlier in the day, great date night atmosphere later on. Our party ordered a good selection of tapas while we waited for our seafood paella…def worth the wait! Get their churros with chocolate for dessert.

Kid-friendliness: We brought our toddler grandsons and they provided us with hi-chairs and offered us food from the kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: There were no stairs.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all. The price is too high compared to the portion and quality. We ordered Paella, it was supposed to fill two people but it was not even enough for one person. The quality was not good either. It was too oily and the quality of rice was bad and cheap.

Barceloneta is my favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz. There is no other restaurant like it in terms of cuisine and flavors. The owner is lovely. The drinks are delicious and the menu changes with the seasons but always retains some favorites.

As seems typical for this place, we waited a loooooong time for our first drinks to arrive...despite the restaurant not being very full. We like the food, and the pacing of the small plates was great, but they really need to work on speeding up the bar!

I don't know where to begin. The service was the only thing that was worth the trip. Mushroom appetizer was nice. Wine was okay although they only really offered tempanillo for reds. The paella was a joke very little rice burnt to the bottom of the pan and nothing but shell and crawfish Head. The dessert which we got churros were finger size with chocolate that was also burnt. Again it was the service and that was it not worth the money. What a shame I've lived in Spain and I would not say that this was worthy of being Barcelona food.

I was so excited to dine here and I have to say it was beyond disappointing. First, our waitress was awful. Seriously, she should not have a job. She was rude, non attentive and just overall bizarre. If I was the owner, I would let her go or move her to a non Custer service oriented position. We contemplated the chef’s tasting menu for our table of three and she told us that the chef would not appreciate it since it was 815 and they want to start closing up. She said it would be agitating to him if we ordered that. Then we asked for a wine recommendation and she said it’s on the menu. She proceeded to leave dirty dishes at our table without picking them up, never refilled our water bottle, got annoyed every time we asked for anything like salt and pepper. Her entire vibe and attitude really ruined our evening. When you go out and pay $200 of your hard earned money to be treated unwelcome is beyond not ok! The food was ok but thrown together as if they were rushing. Super disappointing.

Such a good place to meet friends for great Spanish food! Like being back at beach near Barcelona!

I was most excited to try Barcelonetta when driving through SC for a couple days from the city and overall, found it to be a pretty good experience. So we wanted the paella and some tapas and well enough, the restaurant had a set menu designed to cater to that perfectly. And honestly if you have an appetite, definitely do this because understand that paella takes a while to make and our waitress did a great job of slowly delivering dishes to us in a means that made the wait feel reasonable (a restaurant that brings their apps before the entrees, smart thinking lol). Great organization to the dining experience here.Jamon Croquetas are simple but insanely good... the right amount of crisp and perfectly cheesy, meaty filling. I was thinking that these would be great if served with either a light sauce or some kind of sweet dip or drizzle.Whipped Feta & Beets/ Fruits: honestly thought this would be an afterthought plate but wowww, this was incredible. A rich feta flavor in every scoop and paired with your choice of various beets/ fruits and some pistachios. Fantastic!Potato balls, nothing too insightful to say they were really good, maybe a bit potato heavy on the filling, preferred the jamon ones we gotHoney salmon toast was the perfect amount of sweet and savory, though a bit small. Needed an extra bite or two to really take it in.Paella was the big one. For the price, you really get a lot of food. I loved that the shrimps were whole and cooked perfectly, same with the other variety of white fish, clams, etc. I couldn't finish this one because wow, overall the paella had so much oil and either due to that or my overconsumption on the appetizers, I was feeling kind sick about halfway through this dish. That didn't stop me because it was super delicious and the socarray was perfect but something to acknowledge lol. Would think that the fish could easily serve 3 or 4 people. So, food was pretty great overall. For me the restaurant atmosphere felt a bit clinical and not lived in from an interior decoration lens. But hey, everyone has their own tastes. With some drinks and tip the whole deal was about $150, which is pretty solid for a good dining experience for two.

Restaurant was busy, food is great, bar service is beyond slow, we finished 2 dishes before our drinks came & had to cancel second round b/c we were done eating & they still hadn't arrived. I'd still go back, but maybe preemptively order drinks. Fried chicken was outstanding

My wife and I had the 7 course tapas experience and the wine accompaniment. Overall the food, wine, and service were excellent. The food was creatively prepared and tasty. The ribs were the only course that came up a little short in preparation although they were still good. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting. We look forward to going back soon.

The waitress who surved us was very attentive and nice. Drinks were good. The food was nothing to write home about. Small portions and nothing that wowed us. My husbands a chef, we frequently go out. I wouldn't return.
