Ordered the 3 taco combo with - butternut squash tacos - plantain and bean tacos- papas and bean tacosAll were flavorful and good! Plus we got a free hibiscus agua fresca with our order. Seating was nice and socially distanced. We will be back!

The mole sauce accompanying the duck carnitas taco is the most runny and tasteless mole I have ever experienced. The duck meat itself is moist. The watermelon aguas frescas--way dilute. I like to give this place another chance though. The guy behind the counter is super friendly.

I understand business is suffering now but these guys are two employees at a counter. You have to eat outside and fight the flies in the courtyard. A simple burrito with carne asada and a small drink was $21+! C'mon $21 for this? How do they expect anyone to afford this when you can go two blocks away and get a way better burrito for half the price?!? Sad to say I doubt they will make it.

I had three tacos - one carnitas, tijuana asada, and one chicken chile verde. All three tacos were fantastic blends of flavor and excellent examples of the skill it takes to add new ideas to classic Mexican cuisine. I will definitely be returning to Blue Bunny Tacos on my next trip to the area and recommend it to anybody passing through Abbott Square!

Tacos were cold, tortilla was basically raw. I asked them to heat up the taco and in return got a hot tortilla but the meat in the taco was cold. Then took it back to get reheated and and they gave some excuse about why the food was not warm. Never coming back. Too expensive. Maybe the tourists will like it but if you know Mexican food, don't go here. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is because Donavan gave me a refund after waiting too long for any edible food.

Ordered chicken tacos chili verde. What came out was a small portion of dried out shredded chicken with no hint of any chili verde. Two of those tasteless tacos for $9.87? Yikes! No sides, no beverage.

Was downtown around Abbott square on Saturday and a friend of mine suggested I go try Blue Bunny tacos for lunch. Had very negative experiences with a certain restaurant with veg in its name so reluctantly went in. I was surprised by the best customer service I've ever experienced. It was refreshing to deal with an employee who's happy to serve you. Ordered a bowl and some shrimp tacos. The bowl came out almost immediately and two cups of horchata were served up soon after. We got a buzzer to let us know when the tacos were ready. Everything just perfect. All other restaurants should take a master's class from the owner here. This is definitely a place I am returning to.

Food was really good. The ppl working were super nice and helpful. They recommend the fish tacos and so glad! They were delish! Kids had some steak tacos and burritos, very yummy. Will definitely visit when we're back in that area of Santa Cruz.

Great tacos! Ahhh when they have tortillas..! How does a taco restaurant be out of tacos? Maybe walk over to Trader Joe's & get some tortillas? New leaf maybe? Love the food. Lazy or uncreative Managment.

Ordered the fried yucca and four tacos. The first frightening part was when the grabbed a plastic bag full of par fried yucca and dumped it into the frier. The yucca was bland and soggy. Serving it with ketchup was odd. How about aji? Or a nice sauce. The best part of the taco was the homemade tortilla and it was cold. It's it on the grill and crisp it up a tiny bit. My tacos lacked flavor even though I ordered habanero chicken. Wish we had a good taco place in down town. Four tacos, two sodas, and yucca $41.

i originally wanted to order the fried cod but they were out. so i had the mango habanero chicken and seared salmon al pastor. the chicken taco was mushy and not particularly appetizing. the salmon came out dry and flavorless. the tortilla was on the heavier side. my favorite item there was the watermelon and berry agua fresca. i'd go back for drinks but not tacos.

Went there last night with my three sisters. Heard the tacos were great. Hate to say it, but the asada tacos and butternut squash lettuce wrap tacos were anything but good. Asada taco meat was like ground beef and no flavor. The butternut squash was good but the WRAP was not a lettuce wrap, but a pile of chopped iceberg with a little kale. We all agreed that these were the worst and most flavorless tacos we've ever had! Mango Chicken taco was equally as bad. Our hopes for a good dinner out were dashed and we won't go back.

Fabulous and creative Peruvian and Mexican food. Really flavorful and yummy. Great service.

Very disappointed. I tried 3 different tacos, all of which were seriously under-seasoned, lacking flavor. The red salsa accompanying chips was also without nuance, flavor or seasoning. Pricey bland food.

Cute little taco place in downtown Santa Cruz. We found this place by chance and decided to give it a shot! Unfortunately they were out of the 2 tacos I wanted to try even though it was still early in the day (duck and salmon), so I opted for the carnitas and portabello instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the portabello taco! Very juicy and flavorful. However, the carnitas didn't have much flavor at all and was very bland. I'd give this place another try if I'm in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way.
