Hands down best coffee in Santa Cruz other than Santa Cruz Coffee Roasters, Which they source their beans from. I love this place they have pour over coffee as well, which is super strong. Lots of lattes and iced drinks. Great breakfast burritos and pastries. They have a great Matcha. Two locations one on portola one on capitola. No corporate coffee!!!

Amazing coffee and breakfast burritos.

A small, laid-back coffee shop with a cool, old-fashioned bank vault inside!

Aside from the atmosphere, the staff are friendly, and the coffee is good. I've had lattes, drip coffees and mochas from here before and they all tasted great! The wait time wasn't very long and there is outdoor seating as well as seating indoors within the vault, a smaller room and the main area.

This is the perfect location to grab a coffee and then go for a walk along West Cliff, taking in the views and watching the surfers! They offer sweet treats and other coffee shop staples as well!

Amazing coffee and smoothie and bagel products. Some of the best in Santa Cruz. Horrible service! One should budget 15-30 minutes to wait for a coffee or smoothie.

Macchiato was well-done but delivered in an oversize cup for the drink that it is. The vegan sustainable cookies (Kerri's?) they sell there are attractive and tasty.

First couple times I went here the service was average. But the last time I went there, it was completely empty and I ordered just a simple double shot of espresso. Mind you it’s 5 dollars for that here. The guy who took my order was not busy at all, and he had time to have conversations with two different employees. As I sat there, I continually made eye contact with him, and he never once put effort into starting my simple order. Then a couple other people came in and he started their orders, one literally right in front of me as he looked at me too. It wasn’t until I stood up and asked him when my espresso was coming, and he acted like he forgot about it. Only then, did he start my order which took him less than one minute.

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe someone would forget a simple order when I was literally the only person in the coffee shop literally sitting right in front of him. Maybe he wanted a generous tip for such a simple and easy order on an already overpriced, and mediocre shot of espresso. Oh, and by the way, he only gave you one shot not the double shot I paid for.

I spent a total of 15 minutes sitting there. I don’t suggest you go here, go to Verve instead.

A bustling cafe with an eclectic ensemble of tables and chairs. The syrups are made in-house, but what really strikes me is that their selection of loose leaf is from Silk Road Teas, a well-respected brand that I haven't seen offered at other coffee shops around Santa Cruz.

Coffeetopia is one of my favorite coffee places in Santa Cruz area. I love their Mexican mocha. Iced or hot. They have good breakfast burritos and other food items. Friendly staff too.

Walk-in to get coffee with my grandson this morning and the woman behind the counter yells “ our espresso machine is broken so unless you already have a coffee you need to get out!” So I said this might be a silly question but can I just get a hot chocolate? She replies no like i said the machine is broken. So I asked if I can just get a regular coffee and she tells me I am scaring her and being aggressive and need to leave!!! Not sure if it’s under new management but the last two experiences have been rude customer service. Not sure I’ll go back.

I was not amazed. A kind of old school aesthetic, $4 for self-serve drip coffee. Meh.
