This review is for the service; I didn't buy anything. The guy working, James, noticed me out front standing, leaning backwards gazing at the gloriously blooming cherry trees along the sidewalk. He came out with a chair and invited me to sit. Five stars for thoughtfulness, kindness and hospitality. Thank you James!

I went in with a client with disabilities who uses a wheelchair this past Monday. As we waited in line by the ice cream, all the employees ignored us and served two separate parties that clearly arrived AFTER us instead. When I spoke up, the employee just gave me a rude look without apology. I'm never taking my client here again. The filthy tables that never seem to be cleaned didn't bother me so much, but this is unacceptable...

I've never been to a Cold Stone Creamery before, but wanted ice cream as my boyfriend and I were walking around exploring the area. The guy in there was so friendly and kind. He let me sample a couple of flavors so I could pick what I liked best. The interaction with him was the highlight because he was a very cool person and you could tell he was passionate about his job. (I always appreciate excellent customer service.) The ice cream was smooth and creamy and yummy. Would go back if I were in the area.

There was only one person in line so I figured we got lucky. 20mins later I felt the exact opposite. If there's a long line you better have a few hours to kill. I don't want to come down hard on kids. I think it's important that people have entry level jobs to hone their skills. However, I do expect a certain level of common sense to already exist. Well.... it's not the first time I've been wrong. The two gals working that day had the personality of wet cardboard and moved slower than the dmv line. To be fair what they made was tasty but, it shouldn't take almost 30 for 2 people ordering nothing fancy with only one person in front of you.While I did appreciate the generous portions I was unable to enjoy them because the cup was too small to contain everything. The extra was a waste and only served to make a sticky mess. At least we got to enjoy our treat out front on the dirty tables. Sitting downtown made me realize why I avoid Pacific Ave most of the time. Living here for 50yrs it's a shame to see how wretched this once special area has become. I guess cold stone is lucky anyone is willing to work downtown.

Stopped by during lunch, it was such a warm day in SC. Im soo glad they have non dairy options. Ice cream was delicious. The young lady who served us was friendly. We sighned up thru the app and recieved a bogo coupon.

Kids enjoyed and the Barbie ice cream we tried was delicious although very sweet. I have no idea how any one can eat more than a small of any of these. This location is on the main strip, pacific garden mall Santa Cruz so very easy to get to. I have walked by for years as chains are not my favorite the young man serving us was helpful.

j just went in to get the Barbie ice cream. The guy making it gave me the skimpiest scoop and then put the put the whip cream on top instead of mixing it in. when I asked them to remake it, since the whip cream was not mixed and they told me they couldn't do anything for me unless I paid since they put the whip cream on top. the manager told me her employee didnt even make a mistake because he put everything in. my friend ordered the same thing and the whipped cream was mixed in so how was there no mistake? very disappointed, dont go here. inconsistent quality and really bad costumer service.

This is a business, not the high school quad!Went in to get a carton of ice cream and the freezer case was locked ( already a sign of a poorly run business) so we go up to the counter and there are five teenagers behind the counter all involved in talking and no one acknowledges us for about 30 seconds(we are the only ones in the store) then when some one looks over we asked if we could get a pre packed pint. She mumbled "just a minute" and went back to talking. We waited for 4 more minutes and watched the five youth behind the counter continue in their circle of conversation, backs to the counter. We finally walked out and got ice cream four doors down the road. June 10, 7pmI love cold stone but no one wanted to serve me! Who is managing this place??????????!!!!!

This place is the best! A little odd they call themselves the Cold Stone Conery with only a selection of TWO cones?! Kinda crazy if you ask me. The staff and owner are great, the cream is top notch, if they could just get some more cones or at least change the name to something besides conery it’d be coo

I must say, I really thought the world of this place until I started placing custom orders. My most recent order was a triple pint size of Birthday Cake Remix, and I paid the extra 3 or 4 dollars for double all the Mix-Ins (two brownies, twice the fudge, twice the sprinkles). When I came to pick up the order, I told the guy at the register I I was there to pick up an order and gave him my name. He went into the back and never returned! I had to ask someone else to please get my order after waiting for almost ten minutes. I was extra bummed when I got home and looked in the container. You can see by the attached photo there is practically nothing in the ice cream at all, let alone double the ingredients! Maybe someone was having an off day, but for $26, this should have been amazing instead of disappointing.
