Most everything was great, but my baked potato was dry and old. The outside was tough and leathery. We had the special banana chocolate bread pudding. The outside was dry and hard. They added a bunch of whip cream. Just not the best for the price we paid. The prime rib was good. I recommend the shrimp artichoke it was a good appetizer. The crab cakes were good but rather pricey for 2 cakes.

I've only been here twice, once upstairs, bar and casual dining and once downstairs, a more formal dining room. The food was delicious both times I dined here, however my husband has eaten here many times throughout the years.

I planned a special evening with my wife. Made reservation, hour plus drive over the mountains. We go in, hostess says, ready in 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes later she asks who we are. She had forgotten. Said another few minutes. Never happened. I asked yet again, she couldn't remember any of it.
We left. I didn't think they would ever seat us. Drove back over the mountains. Ate fast food. No nooky.
This has happened before. They only take reservations by phone. They are disorganized. And they don't care. At all.
Don't go to the Crow's Nest in Santa Cruz - Capitola unless it's near empty.
