Twinkies stand, the funny thing is we didn't order Twinkies, we went with the deep fried Oreo's and Pb&J instead. I recommend eating it right away because they will be nice and warm and it will taste just right. You can find this stand next to one of the Sky Gilder entraces. Do you ever have any Deep fried cravings? ?

I love this place I drive from milpitas to Santa cruz every weekend for their deep fried oreos so good but the deep fried twinkies were not as great 5 stars still lol.

Legitimately good, just eat in moderation. They have the option of powdered sugar and chocolate syrup drizzled on top and I wouldn't cover Twinkie's or Oreos in chocolate so I just got the powdered sugar. The last time we had deep fried sweet stuff like this was at Sacramento state fair about 7 years ago and it was so heavy we haven't eaten it since. My family and I shared: -deep fried twinkie, comes on a stick, the cream inside melts and soaks into the batter, tasted great and my kid loved it as well. -deep fried oreos, comes 3 per order. Wife wanted to come back for these. The Oreos turn soft I side the batter and melts together into an almost chocolate and cream filling, this one definitely doesn't need chocolate added to the top of it.

This is what dreams are made of. Seriously. Super cute surfer town meets a fun colorful boardwalk of rides, giant arcade, and tasty treats. I spent way too much $$$ in the arcade, but that's ok. The boardwalk offers a ton of rides to choose from, plus a handful of gift shops and places to grab snacks of all kinds. The only ride I took was the sky bucket that runs parallel to the ocean. The weather was perfect and it was nice looking out over the water. I can't wait to go back here!

We loved the ride over the boardwalk which allows you to see the water and look around the park from above. Bring your own food and drinks if possible because the food/drinks are a little expensive here but it is to be expected. We love the free concerts on the beach in the summertime although it gets very very crowded so you must arrive early to get a good spot. ALSO if you bring chairs, make sure you bring low rider sand chairs which have no legs because otherwise you will be blockimg everyones view behind you either that or just sit in the sand.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in the warm California Sun!! This has has been the motto of this outdoor amusement park my whole life, and a recent trip here brought back so many good memories! For anyone that grew up in Northern California, chances are you came here in on a school field trip. I came here on a middle school and high school trip, and several other times with my friends. On a recent trip, we took my nephew to go on the rides and grab some food by the beach. He loved it! He got to play lots of video games, and its fun to play there as an adult with a micro brew in hand. We got my nephew a hot dog, and my wife and I split some fried artichoke hearts with garlic fries. They sell clam chowder bowls, and lots of fair food classics. This isn't gourmet 5 star food, but it really hits your heart to eat here and enjoy the view. We had so much fun here, I want to come back soon to walk the boardwalk and play some games. If you've never been here, come by and check it out. You're walking distance to the pier and several good restaurants. It will make your inner child very happy!

So fun! We've been coming here for 45 years! It's super clean now and lots of new games added. Our boys love the arcade and games. Being right on the beach it's great to go back and forth. There are nice shops and restaurants across street abd on the wharf as well. Dogs not allowed on boardwalk but are allowed on Cowell's beach on leash

I just came back from a getaway to Santa Cruz with my date and we had the opportunity to go to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for a couple hours on Sunday. One thing that I especially love about Santa Cruz is how walkable it is and we were able to walk from coffee to brunch and then here without ever having to move the car. We rode two different rides while we were here which were the Logger ride and the Giant Dipper. Both rides cost us $7 per person per ride and there wasn't a super long wait for either. The price was totally worth it and is something I would do again the next time I go. We also had fun playing on the pinball machines in the arcade which cost $1 per game. While there are a lot of kids around, there are plenty of adults too and everyone is having a good time. I definitely want to plan to come back the next time I am in Santa Cruz.

Seaside Americana, nautical nostalgia and memories to be remembered. The boardwalk is both a time capsule and something new. Look closely and you'll see some history look even closer and you'll end up walking into something Bc it's crowded. There's a lot to take in to say the least, plenty of good food .... surprisingly good actually, lots of shops and games, plus there's one if the best arcades anywhere. The rides are better than an average carnival but definitely a notch below a full on theme park but for what it is it's fun. I really appreciate the open cone as you may feel to the entire place. You can walk right out to the beach at will or back out toward civilization. I enjoy the boardwalk every time

I thought I reviewed the Boardwalk on my last trip out here, but I guess I didn't. It's so fun at The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Where else can you get rollercoaster rides, carnival games, and a gigantic arcade on the beach? The rides are some of the most original in California and the prices aren't bad either. The Boardwalk has great snacks but the meals are okay. I'd pass because they are overpriced and about the quality of cafeteria food. (That costed them a star) A lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and hotels are walking distance which is nice if you wanna grab a Red Bull like I did to revamp. Prices are fair. Wristbands are normally $40, but during the summer they have deals online or at Costco. I was not fortunate enough to get deals this time around :(

The Boardwalk has been a staple in nearly my whole life as a place for fun, and a place where I have spent celebrating several of my birthdays. Having an August Birthday this means it is very hit and miss as to whether it is VERY crowded or tolerable. I will say that when it is super crowded it is not the most fun experience. You can barely walk through the crowd which is frustrating, and it's just generally overwhelming. I really don''t mind the high prices or the greasy foods, it's just that the crowds are just toooo much. On a hot day, the beach is also super crowded which is just too much. That said, the people that work there are typically quite nice and handle the giant crowds quite well. I would definitely recommend going on a weekday as it is just a more enjoyable experience when there are fewer people there. It's definitely a staple in Northern California "family fun" and worth a visit, but just choose when to go carefully!
