Each time we go to Santa Cruz / Capitola, having dinner at Dynasty Restaurant is a must. The BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Green Onion Ginger Beef, and Salt & Pepper Pork is so good!

So.. something has changed? This was my go to and I.moved from SC in 2023. I am visiting and excited to get a to go order and it was less than subpar. The kung pao was actually dry and chicken used very fatty dark meat. Steamed rice was overcooked. Egg rolls were soggy and undercooked, very oily. What happened??! The 2 stars are for them refunding a $7 over charge.. check your receipts! I am updating this to a no star rating. The eggrolls have something very off with over seasoning and again very dry, gritty texture, only filling other than spices is cabbage. It’s inedible. The entire meal will not be eaten, and I will bring it back to the restaurant in the morning.
Had beef and broccoli, with plain white rice. Everything was very very good, and the meal was fresh and not precooked. Will return to them again. Plenty of parking and not crowded.
