Ferrell’s has been a staple of Santa Cruz since before I moved here in 72, famous for their wheat doughnuts, but I have to say their apple fritters are the bomb, I have tasted many of these in other shops but these apple fritters are the sweetest most crunchy ones ever!
I was impressed by how much the place at livened up since I attended college in the area. Everything was cleaner, the staff was super friendly, and the donuts were just as good, though they were a bit more expensive then when I was a college student.
The employee was so happy and nice very helpful too for my boyfriends and I first time ever in this place and so glad we got the donuts are so delicious my boyfriend got the pink frosted, glazed and sugar donuts they were huge and I got 2 mini filled donut holes lemon and cream filled and one chocolate covered donut that was big they hit the spot I will say it's the best donuts we ever had in life we now found our new bakery spot!!!! Prices are reasonable too
