Love H&H. As a member of their CSF I eat their fish on a weekly basis. They consistently deliver high quality, locally sourced products. After 3 years I've had exactly 1 sub par cut, and H&H were quick to offer solutions. There have been a few times I have missed getting my fish pickup and they're always willing to work with me. Great fish, great customer service, great folks. Anytime someone asks me where to get good fish I send them to H&H.

I belong to their Community Fisheries program. Each week they bring lovely seafood over the hill to me in Campbell. I no longer buy seafood from any of the local stores because they can't match the freshness. And I don't worry about sustainability. Check this great program out on their website.

City of Santa Cruz needs to chill on the parking police over here! Pay a quarter, save $40 or more. I didn’t have 2 min to run in and ask a question before I saw I was being written a tix. The guy allowed me to quickly buy a tix, but you all may not be as lucky. ??ON THE FISH PLACEExperts on fresh seafood. Had to scratch up a ceviche for 30 ppl and their suggestions made it a success. Also did bacon wrapped scallops and they hooked up scallops too. All the seafood was fresh and tasty, no foul odor. What was really easy: all I had to do was tell them what I was trying to do and then they told me what to get. No brainer! I’ll always go back when I’m in town!

Being an H&H member and getting fresh fish weekly and the option to purchase additional shell fish or fish has changed my diet — I eat more fish and it’s nearly always fresh, never frozen. I’ve learned to shuck oysters, steam, mussels, sauté squid, and bake, grill or fry countless types of fish. Paired with my farm CSA, my household diet flows with our local seasons and feels so good!

Very friendly staff. This is just a small seafood market great for picking up stuff to take and cook at home or wherever. They do have a small counter for takeout (poke or a shmeer) I did get the crab claws but no utensils so I channeled my inner otter and just bit into them. There is an outside picnic table which was nice to sit by the boats but no real ambiance to speak of. Still I do recommend this place.
