So relaxing and one of the best atmospheres you can get in the United States. The tea is delicious and the overall vinyl selection and music is a perfect combination for relaxing with a good book or a good friend

Such a beautiful experience! Very beginner friendly and such a peaceful atmosphere. They do ask that you be digital free for the time you are there inside, so if you’re looking for a spot to reconnect or go on a first date, this is the place! Everyone was super friendly and they offer games to play. Also a good place to just sit and drink tea while reading a book! It’s 16 dollars for the table and then you pay for the tea ranging from 5-23 dollars that will literally last you for hours! And at the end of the experience if you have not been there for long, they’ll wrap the leaves for you to take home! Love love this place!!

I stop in every time I am in Santa Cruz, if they are open that day. It is a little refuge and a transportation in time and place. I usually sit outside on the peaceful front patio with a bowl of Pu'er tea and a book from their library.

Transported to another world, very relaxing, friendly staff, games to play, and enjoyed tea although it could get very strong if left to steep too long!

Highly recommend this super zen and phone free space. It was a unique, chill experience, and the owners are super dedicated to their craft. The tea is lovely, and poured over some old (traditional?) tea tables. I don't know where else to get a traditional Chinese tea experience like this near me, and the owners were taught well, so I'm happy to support!

I was pleasantly surprised with the lovely tea service and the atmosphere. When we sat down the server asked us if we had ever been there. My partner had and I said I had not. The server did not mention how the tea service should go just demonstrated and also did not mention there were no electronics allowed. My phone was in my purse on a low ringer as I was waiting for an important phone call. The phone rang and I picked up and tried to be as quiet as I could, stepping away from my table near no other guests. The guy in charge wearing a black long robe raced over to me and loudly said there's no phone calls inside then explained you have to wait outside of the gate on the sidewalk to take the call. It was pouring down rain. I didn't have time to get my hat or coat; so I just stood in the rain pouring down on my head........ Anyway I do recommend this business. But, be aware there are no electronics allowed. The other rude behavior was when we went up to the register to pay he stood up and told me "they" are in the kitchen and you just have to wait; then he sat back down. I think it's more the individual in the long black robe who is not a kind person versus the tea House.

Just off of the Main Street, atmosphere is impressively serene. The service was prompt. The tea was nice. I enjoyed sitting outside and having a good place to chat for over an hour with a friend. $5 for tea outside, refills of hot water for free.

In my opinion, the best tea house in North America. This is the real deal. They keep the water hot and the service present minded.

Very cute space. And such sweet staff. The waitress showed my daughter how the traditional tea service worked even though we weren't going to do it. (Traditional Service inside, Cups on the patio). The idea of being there and just enjoying the space/your companions is so nice. They have a very strict no electronics policy and they enforce it. Board games and cards to borrow if you want.Lots of very beautiful cups and tea pots inside to peruse. We sat on the patio - they had just three types of tea to choose from out there. I got green. My daughters got the Chrysanthemum (the only decaf option). They loved the little cups that came with it. I actually thought it was much tastier than I thought it would be. They have just some very light snacks. Unfortunately they don't allow outside food - which was kinda a problem for us, because I have kids who like to snack and they didn't like any of what was offered. We made do. No photos cause no camera allowed!
