Had an absolutely stellar burger here today and the carrot cake was gorgeous. Great vibes in this place and the ladies running it have wonderful energy. It's so rare to find healthy, tasty and fulfilling plant based food at this standard.Needless to say, I'm looking forward to returning.Highly, highly recommended!

For vegan and fermented food lovers, this should be top of your list. The owner Katie is so on point with all of her recipes and the concept, it's truly a gem. Katie has always been super accommodating and we love to come in with our dogs And visit. The mushroom lattes are really strong with their adaptogenic benefits, I recommend to drink them slowly, if ordered! The cinnamon roll snail is one of the best things I've ever tasted, and Katie's version of a spring roll, the nomsters, just wowww. Their menu is super seasonal and always dynamic and changing. Another dish to call out is the pesto pasta, even the pasta is made from wheat grown organically and locally. Really just an amazing and tasty and comforting dish. There is one employee that sometimes seems like she is bored or, tired of her job or whatever, but I won't knock a star off because Katie is amazing and probably doesn't even know about this employee's attitude. This is a 10/10 establishment. Café is also just cutely decorated and truly just so comfortable and yellow and sunny and bright, makes me happy to walk in the door.

Hands down the best plant-based cafe you're going to find in the Bay Area. Everything here is freshly made, organic, and homemade with so much care from Katie and her team.I fell in love with their Cinnamon Snails a year ago and they still are the best of the best. Their seasonal menu items change frequently and sometimes I run out of time to try them all, but everything I've had from their pesto pasta, nom rolls, and their delicious tempeh is such a hit.You pay for amazing food and to good health. Treat your body right to these amazing treats when they're open because it is so worth the visit.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegan friendly. Anything remotely dairy uses a vegan substitute.Dietary restrictions: They are very cognizant of dietary preferences and the team can suggest certain items that are gluten-free, nut-free, etc.

I had an allergic reaction to the walnuts here but caught it in time for it to not be serious and the person working was SO kind to me and made me a whole new meal for free. Really kind service and great food. Thanks for everything.

Mushroom matcha: $6, if you want a matcha, or even any taste of a matcha, this would be a 0.5/5. if you're looking for a creamy mushroom beverage, 3/5. earthy fullness that is hit with (imo) overly sweet after taste. quite thick for being vegan, has a fullness in the sip. best thing about this drink is the homemade cashew milk. would recommend renaming this beverage to something more descriptive, such as.. sweet earth cream (v).

The best healthy lunch or healthy breakfast in Santa Cruz! Absolutely incredible — I had a kitchari tempeh bowl with kabocha squash and miso cheddar dressing + a cacao to drink + sourdough cinnamon rolls. I travel a lot and always look for healthy food. This blew every expectation I’ve ever had out of the water :) so good & the market section is awesome.Vegetarian options: All vegan !

If you enjoy, eating, hippie style, natural/healthy foods, you will dig this place. My two friends and I had the harvest bowls, which allowed us to pick a grain option, a bean protein option, two veggies, as well as a delicious sauce and kimchi option. We all chose the mung bean/rice kitchari, roasted, butternut squash, either broccoli or arugula, and different delicious sauces. Everything was vegan, with lots of different dessert and drink options. We got the delicious chai cacao, a fizzy house made strawberry drink. We loved the drinks as well as the bowls and the delicious pastry desserts we had. They had a sourdough cinnamon roll, a delicious, blueberry bar, as well as a large seed, dried fruit cookie very creative and delicious. The space is sort of informal, you order at the register, and then they bring you your food at the tables. We sat at the community table, and there were several other two person tables available all around and outside the front door. Lots of charming things to look at in the store and products that are vegan that you can buy take a visit! We think you will like it.

We love this restaurant! The owner is one-of-a-kind, and her philosophy is represented in every aspect of the business. The food is plant-based, freshly made, delectable, healthy, and well presented. The desserts are awesome! The ambience is casual, unique, and whimsical. This restaurant combines higher ideals around social and environmental justice, and it gives us hope for a more sustainable future.
