Today I had the worst sandwich I have ever eaten in my life, delivered via Doordash from the Santa Cruz Ike's. It was inedible. (And I usually really like Ike's sandwiches.) I tried an Erin Coscarelli sandwich since my favorite Lincecum isn't available to be ordered online, with extra chicken and extra sauce since I also get Ike's gluten free bread and it's a little dry. Well, the extra sauce and the wet chicken saturated the sandwich wrap and by the time I pulled it out of the bag it was a horrible soupy mess. Family joked that I should have gotten a spoon. The paper got all mixed up with the sandwich. It was like eating porridge made of chicken, paper, limp lettuce, and Ike's sauce, gloppy and oozing, with stale gluten free bread chunks like croutons in a cold stew. The bread was coated in the sauce but it didn't absorb any of it, and it was chewy, stale, and dry - like it hadn't been warmed up to fix the GF texture. And they forgot the avocado... which I would have picked out and eaten. It was horrible. Teen complained that the Madison Bumgarner had almost no meat in it, and teen was right - it has been lightly dusted with meat rather than a meat layer. His quote: "I made a mistake in ordering this. It's not good."

This place can make a sandwich!! Highly recommend the Dutch crunch bread too, basically like an Asiago bagel topping but bread form. The staff was super friendly and helpful too! Definitely will go back!

This place was absolutely horrible. The guy working the night of March 29th around closing needs to be trained in customer service. I get it, my wife came in 15 minutes before closing. You wanted to go home. But he didn't have to purposely mess up our order. I know what she ordered and he pretty much made both of the sandwiches the way he wanted to. Didn't listen to any of the instructions. Didn't give us a receipt either. Our orders couldn't have been more wrong. A child could have gotten half the order right. I guess that was his way of saying we shouldn't have come so close to closing. I will be contacting corporate in the morning because this was just flat out unprofessional. Get a different job if you hate your job so much. I have never had an order this wrong before. Before tonight I was totally against robots doing the job of humans but after tonight I would rather take my chances with Skynet than to deal with an employee like this again. Karma will come for this guy eventually if it hasn't already.

Ike's was a huge miss. It was an empty when we walked and that should have been our first red flag. I would 100% got to Subway over Ike's any day. The menu tries too hard and the food is honestly not good at all.
