I'm a local & this was the first time I've eaten here. Obviously the view is gorgeous but the "latte" tasted like burnt coffee, not a nice espresso & the food was horrible like you would get at a bad diner. Very disappointing & very expensive!!

Thank God I leaned on my medical knowledge to assist a customer choking. The staff stepped up and were very sympathetic and empathetic to this customer. A soup and food was cold, steak was raw w/ no sear, service was slow. Seating was odd, sat in a booth with another couple staring at each other, valet was 10/10, young guy was super quick and nice, servers were nice but so freaking slowwww

Very good food and drinks. Friendly wait staff, but the hostess was a little unfriendly. They are their own alcohols and the guy that does that for them was there and we got to chat with him which was pretty cool.

Thanksgiving 2023! We visited Santa Cruz over thanksgiving and didn't have the facilities to prepare our own thanksgiving meal. Jack O'Neill's had an excellent thanksgiving dinner with, I think, three different protein options. The service and the food were excellent but the view of the Pacific was even better. It's an excellent choice if you find yourself wanting a nice meal in Santa Cruz.

Amazing dinner with some great colleagues in Santa Cruz and couldn't of been better. From the initial greet by our server Elli, followed by her attention to detail, this dinner could not have been better. Big props to my new best friend Jack O'Neil, and Elli who crushed it.

The view alone is so nice and calming. The staff are very attentive and kind. We enjoyed our halibut and short ribs. So good.

The hostess said not to worry and they would accommodate me. When I got to the restaurant, the story completely changed: She said she had put us as a no show, and now she could not sit us until an hour later. During THE WHOLE HOUR we waited, my requested table sat there, EMPTY! When the time finally came to sit us, she got a two person reservation into that four people table and kept us waiting!!! We are still sitting here waiting, and the only reason I don't pick up and leave is because I already promised to our family we will done here, and we have a hungry, pregnant lady in our party. However, this will be the last time they ever see me here, and will definitely NOT recommend them to any acquaintances and coworkers that might visit Santa Cruz. There are many other less flashy options in the area, and the poor service of their staff completely ruins the ambiance and the food. Is quite a shame and disservice to the chef.

I was recently able to finally try out this restaurant and was not disappointed. We got there just in time for our reservation, but had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. There were a lot of empty tables in the restaurant side (where our reservation was), but the lounge was completely full. We had to wait outside of the lounge as there was nowhere to sit while we waited. When seated, our server was very nice and helpful. He made some recommendations. I got a strawberry mocktail and their Caesar salad. Their Caesar was amazing! We also tried their clam chowder and bread. Both were good, the bread was delicious. The. Jew was gorgeous, would definitely recommend this place and will be going back when the weather is nicer. We went on a rainy day, and it was still surprisingly busy. We got lucky and found parking nearby, but I believe they also have valet.
