Fantastic burgers. Really good patties, not too thick and well cooked.Fries are off the chartsHot dog was good. I would recommend a chili dog, the plain one was good even without condiments.Exactly what you expect from this style of restaurant

Solid burger spot one street over from the main drag of downtown Santa Cruz. Stopped here with some friends after wandering around UCSC. The menu was expansive and everything was reasonably priced. My chipotle burger with fries came out to around $12.30, which I thought was a steal. The fries were warm, crispy, and salty. The burger had this smoky flavor which reminded me of backyard bbq burgers, which was complemented by the spiciness of the chipotle sauce. The cucumbers were a nice change of pace from pickles; they weren't was acidic, but added a cool zesty flavor. Check this place out if you're a fan of unpretentious burgers and fair prices.

IMHO best burgers and fries downtown. Betty's is a close second, but they don't have thick cut fries, nor as many toppings as Jack's. Coke by the bottle is the best Coke ever, but a Jarritos or a MTN dew once in a while is good also.Parking: Free parking lot, but tiny and ruled with an iron chain. Don't come and leave your car, otherwise your burger goes up in price by $300. They will tow you.

For $10.90, I got a cheeseburger + fries and it was super filling. Excellent place to satisfy a burger craving!

This is a local burger restaurant in Santa Cruz. Because the location is downtown, you must use a paid parking lot for parking. The patty tasted similar to Burger King. The vegetables were fresh, and the burger tasted good. The fries were freshly cooked, so they were warm and tasty. However, they didn't clean the table well, so we wiped it ourselves and sat down. Total price is $37

This is the ONLY burger place you should eat at in Santa Cruz. If you’re thinking of going to five guys just eat at jacks once and then rethink all your gastronomic life decisions. Everything is fresh, reasonably priced, and delicious. Not much more to say. Thank you Jacks!
