Went to Santa Cruz on vacation and decided to find a local coffee place to grab a latte and oh my goodness. I got a creme brulee mocha and it was the most delicious drink I've had in so long. The whipped cream was amazing as well. Steamed to just the right temp where I could drink it right away, so it was gone way too fast. Thanks for the delicious drink!!

New update : My teens and better half tried the raspberry truffle latte too, and they loved it !! My new go to place Have you had your RASPBERRY TRUFFLE LATTE today? Because you are missing out!!!! The staff were nice and the barista made my latte PERFECT!! Great way to start the day! Perfect balance of espresso (x3) and sweetness all in one cup! Cheers!

I usually come in earlier in the morning around 7-8am and the coffee and service is really good. Today when I went in around 11 am I asked for a coffee and a sandwich and I tried the coffee and then asked them if they could remake it because it tasted like milk. She offered to put another shot in it and at first I agreed but after thinking for one second I asked her to remake my coffee entirely instead. I got the coffee back and it tasted like she put another shot in it. I did end up just asking for a refund which they did give me. I get back home to see that my sandwich literally barely has any salami on it. It tasted like mustard and bread. I honestly for the most do like there coffee but I feel like the person making the coffee was the issue and needed better training. I honestly just won't get there sandwiches again though.

We often stop by here and the coffee is usually pretty good if overpriced (cappuccino is around $5 with the cup, specialty drinks approach $7) and service is generally good. Today we were very disappointed, and a little alarmed when we ordered a lemonade and after drinking it discovered the date scrawled underneath -- 9/30 (today is 10/4), suggesting it had been sitting in the display for five days. It's our local coffee shop so we'll be back but begrudgingly so after this, and likely won't be ordering anything "fresh" ever again.

Idk but if I'm getting a drink I know I have to pee at least, 1 basic physiological need can't be catered in a place. It's unhealthy. Have a RESTROOM for customers if you sell drinks at least.

This is the 2nd time in a row where my family and I experienced poor service from this location! This time, as we walked in to place our order, one of the employees was sitting on the ordering part of the counter, facing inward towards her co-worker, and neither one of them acknowledged that we were there for at least a full minute! while we were waiting to be served, my son had to use the bathroom, so when one of the girls finally asked me what I wanted, I said "I'd like the code the code for the bathroom so that I could send my son and husband off to handle that business, while I was ordering. The girls behind the counter said that their manager doesn't like them to give out the code without someone ordering something first. I kept saying to them, "Yeah, I'm about to be a customer", but they weren't getting it! They snidely kept telling me that there was a public bathroom outside in the front. This went around in a circle for about 20 seconds! I'm not sure what I finally said to get them to understand that I was trying to order RIGHT THEN, but they finally seemed to get it... after my frustrated husband already escorted my son out towards the parking lot! The entire ordeal seemed SO ridiculously OUTRAGEOUS!!! :-( The girls that work at this location just act like average 'twits', who barely take their job seriously, and who don't really seem like they even care to figure sh*t out (i.e. normal, common sense type of stuff)! I guess they just aren't old enough yet to feel any real sense of responsibility or anything. I'm giving this store 2 stars because, believe it or not, these girls aren't the worst people I've encountered in the service industry... And, they have some good food/drink options. Some of their smoothies are quite good... and they offer Begalry bagels! :-) Yum!

3 of us walked in @ Noon on Sunday June 11th and no one else in line, after @ 30-45 seconds watching a young woman count bills in the open register she said "We're closed for a few minutes". Okay, so we sat outside, the reason we came, and looked at the beach view. We were called back after 5 minutes to give our mocha drink orders. $18.75 later, we recieved our warm drinks @ 5 minutes. Half way through my drink I requested a coffee warmer. I was told, after explaining it was a shot/refill of coffee in my drink, "We dont do that", she dismissed. Okay! Well when Java Junction gets it's staff training together, I suggest they explain some facts of good service to their new (one was starting that day) and existing employees. It takes more than black dyed hair, tatoos and piercings ( all 4 staff ) to serve coffee to the public. I have done fine dining service in S.F. for more than 25 years and I made good living."Try it, you'll like it", and people like you better.

Too much caffeine in my coffee. Not an issue…just wasn’t expecting it. I’m a little anxious right now but I think that’s just a me problem. Actually the more I think about it, my drink was really good. I don’t remember what I got but it was really yummy. Delphi helped me she was great btw. Anyway my experience was pretty good. Would’ve given 5 stars but a pigeon tried to land on my friend Jacob. All in all, a pleasant experience.

My experience at Java Junction was literally so swag. The service was rapid, and the staff was very kind. The drinks themselves were delicious, I highly recommend the Last Mango in Paradise smoothie, as it was very lit. Delphi Best Manager. A staff member approached me and asked for a larger tip, which was a little weird, but overall the experience was great. 5 stars
