Stopped by at 7:55pm on a Saturday night, and got a table right away. We picked it because it was open and one person wanted pasta, another wanted a salad. The host says, "Just in time for the show." We had no idea what a treat we were in for! Moments later, what seemed to be a majority of the staff donned hats and boas and burst into a dance routine that lasted for 15 minutes! It was hilarious and fun and energetic - I didn't know where to look! I have no idea if this dance show is scheduled or we were just super lucky, but it made our night. The staff appeared to be enjoying themselves, which made it even more fun for us to watch. The food was just fine - we were all happy with our meals. But it was the dance show that prompted me to give the 5 stars! Hard to find dinner and show these days!

Really awesome food for the price. Ambience is really cool - can be a bit on the louder side as it gets later. Fun place for young couples also!

Good - really good. Alfredo pasta and some wings were enough for our family of 2 adults and three kids (1 under 2). Service - the worst I've had in years, maybe a decade. No intro from the server, he was rushed through everything, got our order wrong (we only ordered wings and family fettuccini Alfredo - forgot that we added chicken). Didn't apologize. Brought that out late as we were almost finished with the meal. Didn't refill drinks. Didn't check on us. The gentleman that was host that night was a good communicator and was accommodating, so it was probably just a bad night for the server. Would've ordered dessert for my birthday that night but didn't want to wait longer or put up with the service. We're out of towners, so we won't necessarily be back, but at least would've appreciated decent service.

Solid pizza and pasta restaurant! Ask for Pablo! He went about and beyond with our party of nine and was very attentive to our children's needs as well as ours! Great variety of wines and cocktail selection. Reasonably priced appetizers, entrees and pizzas! All of our dishes were scrumptious, fresh and extremely filling.

Really great food and excellent service. They have options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and even low-carbers!Vegetarian options: Veg options are featured prominently and are very good. It's not just an afterthought or some pizza toppings.Dietary restrictions: There are solid low-carb options, not just chicken wings or salad.

I really like their pesto primavera pasta but it seems like its never consistent. It always tastes a little different... BUT i keep coming back because the staff is nice and so is the atmosphere.

Food is good but don't come for a special event Came here w my daughter and some friends for her 18th bday. She'd also been for her 16th and had a great experience. Kianti's is one of our faves whenever we come to Santa Cruz. Told the woman at the front desk that the 45 min wait was ok, and that this was a special 18th bday. She wrote it down. When our waiter saw we were finished, he brought me a box and our check. They never asked if we wanted a dessert, although we were planning on having something. We thought maybe it was because they were going to bring something when they sang to her. No one ever came back, so we left. I did mention to the host that the girls were sad. Kind of a disappointing end to the evening.

Got a pasta on the menu called Bruschetta Pasta and they put feta and no bruschetta. I hate feta. First time I went we got wings during happy hour that were supposed to be discounted, when the check came it was full priced because we had to mention that it was happy hour to get the deal. My gf got a make your own pasta with chicken and they added 5.50 for having chicken in a make your own pasta! The chicken was bland too. Service was bad food is questionable. Do not recommend.
