Loved the Food! Struggled with the wine list...would love to have some local wines to enjoy, as Italian wines are harder to get to know, so it's a crapshoot. Great service. It is a little drafty inside, and the benches are very hard. Some cushions would go a long way towards softening the seat and warming things up a bit. Overall, the food was so good I will return!
We had an excellent meal and a great time. Our table was ready, the service was excellent, probably the best salads I've ever I've ever had. The sausage pizza was so good- the sausage flavorful and tender, kale (surprised us was perfect on top), with a slightly spicy sauce and melty cheese. Had a lovely dinner with our friends. Tried a good variety of the menu. Gnocco fritto, farm salad, black cod, salsiccia pizza, duck confit, Chanterelle bread pudding (my favorite dish of the night ), a lemon tart, and a delicious ricciarelli cookie to go with my dessert wine. Excellent service from Gavin, who seemed very knowledgeable about wine. Definitely an asset to the restaurant.
