A Santa Cruz favorite. Classy and comfortable space with outstanding and reasonably priced food.
they lied to me about not having any more bacon as I proceeded to watch them cook bacon and after somebody ordered after me, they ordered bacon. They took 20 minutes to make my bagel and I had to leave and come back to get it because of how long they took mind you, I watched five other people who ordered after me, get their food before me and then the chef said that he makes the orders by how easy it is to make them instead of making them from the time in which the person ordered it so he makes the food out of order and squeeze in “easy orders” the tea was supposed to be sweetened and it was not sweet. It was bitter, and it was supposed to be iced and there was no ice in melted. they also would forget content in people’s orders and not make it and then have to go back and remake it and then let everybody else.
Selilia is great at her job! One of the coolest bilingual baristas in the area, and has an excellent way of reaching her clients' expectations.
I have liked this place for a while, but today the service was highly unpleasant. Are they under new management? The cappuccino was pretty good though.
Worst. Employees. Ever.
It’s a really nice vibed place. But I ordered a decaf coffee. They made me a regular coffee. I don’t feel well right now. I can’t drink regular coffee. I’m wanted to let you know that some people have a condition and regular coffee might be lethal. It’s not ok to give people regular coffee instead but f decaf they ordered. PLEASE, beware.
Love this place! The service was friendly, and the barista was knowledgeable about what’s in each drink when I asked. The decor and atmosphere is very cute and nice for cupe of coffee. We got the rose & cardamom latte and the golden hour latte, and the coconut almond stone and the mochi sesame muffin. Everything was so delicious! Can’t wait to come back next time in Santa Cruz!
The chai is Rishi, which is fine. Nice spot.
Very unfriendly service.
Espresso was brewed too hot, was overextracted and just too bitter.
Furthermore, we ordered the Espresso to drink there at the restaurant - still got it in paper cups instead of real cups.
Anybody who values good Espresso should avoid Lulu. I was tricked by the nice Mahlkönig Espressogrinder. They obviously don't know how to utilize that beauty.

Not friendly at all.
My kids don’t drink coffee so I got them outside drinks while we’re trying drink and eat in and they wouldn’t allow my kids in due to outside drinks.
Was I supposed to let my kids stay outside in the cold while I stay inside?
Food and Drinks aren’t even good. Don’t waste time.

You should know who your money is going to ! I was studying here for a good hour, and there was a homeless man minding his business the entire time. Out of nowhere some guy who I assume is the owner comes out and says "Ugh I was wondering what that smell was, you need to leave." The man refuses because he wasn't doing anything wrong. The owner was talking to him like he was a dog-- "Get out of here". He called the police, but I left before they got there. As someone who has worked with homeless people I can understand the frustration but there is no need to treat them like subhumans !!!!
