Lúpulo is a great brewhouse in downtown Santa Cruz with a good beer selection, a fantastic range of stuff on tap, and a surprisingly awesome menu. The food comes out fast, is fresh and high quality. Specific meals include chicken empanadas, fingerling potatoes, the papa grilled cheese, and a black lager. The atmosphere is super cool, funky, and fun, with good vibes, varied music, and local west coast post punk vibes. There is lots of open table space, outside seating, and the restaurant is accessible. Service is friendly and cheerful. A pint is about $8, and everything is ordered at the bar.
