It’s quite hard to make a decision with all of the choices.We have been here several times lately and left the guessing up to the ice cream scoop experts behind the counter. ALL Excellent flavor combos. Our go-to is chocolate. There are endless flavors that go well with chocolate.Marianne’s is a local Santa Cruz family favorite. At this location you can get their ice cream and the other ice brands they offer. Scoops, sundaes, sandwiches, pints & drinksThis Westside location is in the middle of an outdoor creative industrial shopping district. Easy parking and right off the Coastal rail trail. Close to the beach to walk or Ebike rentals nearby!

Huge selection of flavors to choose from. I almost got overwhelmed (in a good way) with which one to take. I got chocolate with a waffle cone. The waffle cone was crunchy, the ice cream was yum! They also allow samples for you to try flavorsIt was very crowded inside though and wasn't very well organized, no lines. But it's a newly opened location, so guess it will take some time for them to set up some systems

The best quality ice cream from some of the best ice cream names of the bay area. Back in the day when I had Casey's Ice Cream we always sourced Treat Ice Cream out of San Jose. You can now get Treat Ice Cream on Fair Avenue in Santa Cruz. Just by the RR track.They have Marianne's and Polar Bear as well. This is a factory for the Brand's now as I understand.More flavours available.... I didn't count but it's quite overwhelming and the flavours are grouped together logically.I will certainly be back. As often as possible. It was a rainy day when I was there. My tummy does not have a preference for what weather to enjoy ice cream....Loved having these brands available locally.It's a real treat ?

Great experience here! Very generous with the samples, all of which were excellent. Clean, friendly staff, and quite a lot of ice cream for the money. Can't wait to return, though my belt thinks I should wait, lol.

Excellent ice cream with great variety of flavors to choose from - so good! Staff is very attentive and nice with tasting. Absolutely recommended!
Amazing selection of flavors to chose from. Place seems fairly new, other reviews suggest a few months old. This seems to be a bit of a factory outlet kind of a place expecting people to buy and leave rather than sit and enjoy, though they have a few seats on a bench available outside. There is not much of an atmosphere but the quality of the ice creams is outstanding and the staff is friendly so that makes up for the lack of atmosphere. I would definitely come back here just for the unique flavors. They do seem to have varieties by brand so there is a chocolate from Marianne’s and one from another brand therefore I recommend you try. Their portions are justifying the high price and I found that the Junior double or triple isn’t worth the small saving compared to the regular scoop. My favorite was the Otter841 flavor.

Glad to see another location.Ideas - 1- they could share some information about the factory or the history of Marianne’s. Either as a tour with tasting or just as posters to read while eating ice cream.2- more chairs or somewhere to sit. There are benches outside but it’s not quite family friendly. Tables outside would go a long way. The bar- height table inside doesn’t work so easy when you’ve got a baby/ toddler climbing on you and a pram on your side.3- an indication of where to order. When we visited it was empty so it was easy to know who to order from. But if there were a bunch of customers I wouldn’t know where to start.
