Fun, welcoming place. Kava is an acquired taste but it’s nice to have a relaxing beverage without the hangover, and they even had a surprise special ahead of a bar-wide toast. The open mic was a good time and brought a friendly crowd on a Monday night.
Kava is not my thing, I discovered here. Though, I did have the piña colada and it masked the dirt flavor well. I don't love the numb tongue sensation, though the euphoric sensation is cool
I'd go back and try something not kava next time.

Interesting experience worth a try at least once. The young lady bartender on a Sunday night was better than the young guy with glasses. I tried 2 kava drinks and didn’t really feel much. The cacao hot drink with habanero (does not come with kava) was tasty though! Dog friendly ?
