Oyuki Sushi & Peruvian Cuisine

Not quality sushi. Would not go back for the fish. Something I would expect from land locked states, not in a beach town for a $60 meal. Small but very clean dining area.

I ordered The Masterpiece and my friend ordered The Moon and they were wonderful. I would definitely return again. And the best part is that they had a whole page in their menu that just said in big letters VEGAN which made it very easy for us to order and made us feel that they wanted our business as well. Notice that there's a flower in the pictures on the plate so they definitely win points for their plating.

I am so glad we tried this delicious restaurant. We were hesitant because we already had favorite sushi bar, but I think this might be our new go to, especially for a quick dine in meal or takeout. My parents, who are not easily impressed, said the fish rolls were fresh and delicious. I was so excited by all of the vegan options I hardly knew what to choose, but all three vegan rolls that I shared with my family were excellent. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The space is tiny, so it isn't ideal for a big group or a fancy date, but it was clean and inviting.

Vegetarian options: They have rolls with vegan fish and cream cheese as well as more traditional vegetable based options.

Smelled like warm rotting fish meets soap cleaner inside which was an immediate appetite killer. Our tea tasted like soap water and was served in plastic cups. Food was OK, fairly mediocre for sushi. Service staff was nice and friendly. Definitely not gonna return. Not sure what all the good reviews were about.

- Maybe we ordered wrong, but the food was pretty bad. We got the shrimp roll, the Peruvian ceviche, and the mixed sashimi. Some of the fish on the sashimi platter was off, so we didn't eat it. Everything else was just OK. The big corn kernels in the ceviche tasted like they had come out of a can. The miso soup that came with the meal was way too concentrated and salty (even though we are salt addicts).
- Cramped space with multiple TVs and harsh lighting.

I really wanted to like this place more, but we won't be coming back despite the great service.

i came here with a group of friends and was really impressed. great food, and AMAZING service. everyone is so welcoming and kind and maynor is so passionate. the flavors of the sushi are so well-considered and unique. i highly, highly recommend the acevichado roll. i hope this place sticks around!!

While visiting This beautiful town, my wife and I came across this delicious sushi restaurant. I Can go on and on about our great experience with the food, the environment, and the service, but you really have to check it out for yourself. Great food and wonderful customer service. Both my wife and I were left speechless with how delicious the sushi is here. On our next trip, we are planning to taste the Peruvian ceviche. We would have tried it on this visit, but we kept ordering sushi nonstop giving how delicious it is. Thank you for the great food and wonderful service.

Great Nigiri and the Peruvian style is a very interesting take on the style. Went to 3 sushi places while in Santa Cruz and this might be the best.

Oyuki roll is useful!

A simply exceptional find! Phenomenal mix of flavors. The fish could not have been a fresher. Friendly impromptu service. Highly recommend getting the Peruvian sauces
on the sashimi.
