Four stars with the potential for 5 stars. Went on a whim today for a quick post workout mini meal. It's located on Portola right next to 'Over the Hill Saloon'. Do NOT use the Saloon parking lot. There are a handful of spots on the street and lots more if you turn down 38th and walk the half block back. It's a large indoor space that I feel could be utilized better, although it does make it feel roomy. It was a beautiful day so I enjoyed my açaí bowl outside. There is also a taco truck outside if you're with someone who isn't into açaí or smoothies. I had the 420 bowl, I forgot to tell them no honey so it was a little sweet for my preference. I was a little disappointed that it came in a plastic togo container. Being just a few blocks from the ocean I would expect something more sustainable. It would be wonderful if they switched to a corn based compostable plastic or paper. I would love to see protein powder as an add on too. It's pretty standard for açaí places and I was a little disappointed they didn't offer it (especially since I had just completed a workout). The woman who took my order was quick and efficient, there wasn't much chit chat - it was definitely more 'take your order'. I would love to see this place adjust those few things I mentioned or consider them. I think both options would be a crowd pleaser. I live closer to Samba Rock so they will still be my go to but I'm glad I tried this for when I'm on that side of town.

Very delicious tacos outside. Very fast and efficient service and I love that it's a family business. It's essential that you try their Acai bowls as well, the fruits are so sweet and ingredients are always fresh!

These tacos are absolutely amazing, the guy that runs the taco shop should be a national treasure. Must try if you are going to California.

Santa cruz is a fever dream that made me feel sooo alive. The sun and my beautiful friends. Sarae and i shared a flower mango (it was hella an experience trying to eat it) and giancarlo got a mango drink. Yes we’re all obsessed with

Vehicle driver side swiped my car and fled on SB hwy 1 at 9:00 on Feb 27. Not wise to do in a vehicle with company decals.

I loveeee pleasure point juice. Honestly best açaí bowl I’ve ever had - my go to is the Sophia’s bowl. I always stop by when in the Santa Cruz area!! The people there are always so sweet and kind too :-) definitely worth a try if you’re ever in the

The acai bowl was very mid and $11.25. Had hardly any granola and brown chopped apples (missed that when I picked it) but the plastic container isn't my favorite, would prefer something less wasteful but whatever. The acai was good but lacked toppings and it came out pretty quickly.

I don’t know why they have 4.6 stars. I’ve had açaí bowls in every city I’ve visited and this was by far the worst açaí bowl I’ve ever had. Don’t you check out your competition next door (Amazon Juices) before you offer açaí bowls? It was just a hard frozen blob of açaí and the portion was so small that it took me 2 minutes to finish it.Amazon Juices offers 3x the portion PLUS whey protein PLUS peanut butter FOR THE SAME PRICE.If you want a healthy açaí bowl, go somewhere else. Also ambience? 1/10 ?

Out of every store in Santa cruz that sells acai bowls this is the smallest quantity with out a doubt and is not worth the price. the size is enough for a young small child to finish and the container had more air in in than fruit. the over priced and under flavored torta was laughable for the price and the size , not to mention the bread was completely cold.

As customers who have been coming to Pleasure point since they opened over 5 years ago, today will likely be our last visit. We know the owner and are so saddened to write this but are incredibly upset. Everytime we go we order the same thing, Sophia’s bowl no blueberry add peanut butter a 420 bowl and then tortas. When we went today we did just the same however the acai bowls are half the size for the same price with barely any acai and fruit and the tortas has two slices of ham that was it, and again for the same price. I would rather you slightly increase the price and still give me a hearty bowl and sandwich but today was a rip off. While we love supporting family businesses we will take our money m elsewhere.

Support local businesses! I finally tried pleasure point juice. Great nutritious items to choose from. I ordered a açaí smoothie bowl and to drink I had their aguas frescas and they were good! I would definitely come back, I think I like it better than Jamba Juice. Because it doesn't feel as heavy. I will try other flavors next time!

Tasty smoothies, albeit nothing special. VERY impeccable service! Very tiny hole in the wall with basically no seating or parking, so plan accordingly. Did see some very delicious stuff on the menu worth going back and trying on another visit.
