My friends and I spent the day in Santa Cruz when we walked by this shop. I wanted a Boba so we went in and ordered. When we got there, there was no one in the restaurant by the time we finished our orders there were about 20 people. There was only one person working behind the register and making the drinks and I questioned his methods. He made my friends drink and my drink pretty quick, but he kept breaking away to take more orders. Almost like he didn’t want to loose the business, even if he made people who ordered wait longer while he took more orders. All in all the drink was good, but he made my friend wait almost 15 minutes for her drink when she ordered with us.Dietary restrictions: I think the only thing he sold food wise was popcorn chicken. So if you don’t want popcorn chicken go somewhere else.Parking: We ended up parking far away and walking to this area. So we did not have to find parking, but they had street parking available for free and paid.Kid-friendliness: There’s nothing necessarily for kids to do here, but I think the food offerings are kid friendly. Boba is kind of fun to eat hahaWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. You may have to go up the curb in a different area though.

0 stars. Lol this review is mainly focused on the star it seems of this establishment which is the cashier. Rudest person I've ever met in my life... it was kind of comforting to read other reviews and see that he treated other people the same way but man like just the definition of someone getting up on the wrong side of the bed. I was having an amazing day, I had gotten a drink from a different store earlier in the day but had lost my straw so I saw the quickly and said hey there's probably a straw in here so I go in and politely ask if I could get a straw. After sizing me up for like 5 minutes he goes "where'd you get that?" And I was like huh? And he said where'd you get your first straw? And I knew where this was going. Mans said "go back to where you got the straw" and pointed me to the door. Admittedly, he does have a point, but really? A straw? Lol cmon. Judge this as you may but add this to the other commentary on this man and then you can maybe understand. Just not how you do business lol

My friend was absolutely ill and disgusted this evening, after sucking up a cockroach out of their Boba tea! This place should be reported to the health inspector! Omfg

Guy running the front counter seemed annoyed at a lot of things that day. Ordered a hot Thai milk tea and he said it was only available cold, until I pointed out number 73 on the wall menu. Drink was very standard. Atmosphere was pretty dank. Service was kind of poor. He can try to be patient and listen to customers before speaking back.

BEWARE: the boba milk tea doesn’t have any boba in it!!!!When we went back to add boba to our drink they charged us an extra $1 for it without even listening to us.

Drink themselves are very good with the taste true to the flavor name. Boba is always fresh with the right texture. Incredibly fast service - drinks are ready in less than a minute. 10/10 I come regularly

Get the cashier outta here. Rude af and saw him screaming at a little kid. Food was ok but service trash. Not recommended, get this shop banned!! This place is looking leaving a bad image of Santa Cruz especially for visitors.

The bubble tea, chicken, and takoyaki is pretty good, but the owner has been quite terse and rude to me in the past.

There's running a tight, ship, and then there's greed and boorishness. I must agree with so many other reviews here, the elderly man present in this business is rude without provocation. His business occupies valuable real estate in this town that should be used by someone more respectful of the community.

27 bucks for a medium mango smoothie, waffle fries, and popcorn chicken. What a disgrace. If you're gonna charge that much at least have a condiments bar or basic condiments. The cashier was rude when I asked if they had any ketchup. Ripoff!

Not all Quicklys are the same. Checked out this spot craving a mango slush with passionfruit popping balls. They didn't have the balls and their menu was on the wall versus ordering on a pad. No one was allowed to wait in the store. The trainee was taking my order and it took quite a bit of time to make it as she was being shown how to make it. Wishing her to quickly get up to speed. My large drink for an extra $1.50 was not filled to the top. Kind of a bummer. Review #18 of 100 in 2022.

Quicklys is not the best boba shop but this location is just sad. The entire snack menu was blocked off and only the popcorn chicken is available but for $11 (that is the most expensive popcorn chicken i have ever paid for). For drinks: I got the regular milk tea and a peach green tea. Both tasted like water and had probably half a tablespoon of toppings... If you're in the area and you're craving boba, i recommend do not even bother with this place.

3* because the owner and employees are doing their best. Otherwise, this business is part of a forgettable boba franchise, and only happens to "thrive" because of lack of competition. I am shocked by the number of reviews and customers lining up. If in SoCal or Bay Area, it would be empty and/or struggling. As for the milk tea itself, tastes like powdered milk & sugar that never really dissolves all the way. I am not a huge fan of boba and found this to be just ok - not very soft.

Not very "quick," but does the trick. The drinks are tasty, service is adorably grumpy. Prepare to wait about 10 min for one tea. My one actual gripe with Quickly is that they do not accept cash (so card is mandatory), but they also charge a service fee when you use your card. I would rather pay cash.
