My friend and I went last night and we sat n sat n sat, they never came to serve us. So we left. The place looks ver dirty.

Sticky dive bar, but the food and vibe was perfect. We got tacos and brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and everything was delicious and really nicely plated. We were able to sit by the fireplace on a couch, which was cozy & romantic- especially after dark when the red lights came on. The music was all perfect throwbacks and really made it fun. We had such a great time here and would absolutely go back.

Terrible service. Went to grab a drink after a concert and the blonde bartender was gone forever, said she would get right to us and then proceeded to serve every other person in the bar. Had to get a pat down to go in there….for what? Lame place and terrible bartender/service. This is why bars fail.

Saturday 4/15/23 815pm...male Caucasian bartender wearing suspenders...maybe color blind or something...I was literally the only person (POC) sitting at the bar waiting to get served...a Caucasian guy walks in and gets acknowledged and served immediately...I stand up and get close the same spot as this patron, and still no acknowledgement from bartender...it looked like he was ending his shift so maybe he was like f@c!< it

Awful service. Male to female ratio is horrendous. Bartender ignored. Probably because we were a couple. She was telling most patrons to add her on IG. Decided to leave because it seemed unorganized and kitchen was closed.

Interesting place. Stopped in briefly to get a bite to eat upstairs and it was a chill, groovy dimly red lit room with fireplace and eclectic background music. Not alot of ppl around 9 pm on a sat but DJ was getting setup so the vibe probably changes later. Seemed great for a date when not busy. Downstairs red bar was more divey and packed with lively, drunk ppl. From the sounds of it, its usually reversed. Upstairs service was nothing special but they were polite enough. A little trashier crowd was trickling in upstairs as I left, so maybe thats a downside later in the night.

After walking up stairs and entering the bar you will get asked for id before entering the bar room. Security was super nice. We sat at the bar for about ten minutes before being helped. There were only two bartenders and the Bartop was pretty filled. The bar itself was about 1/4 full of patrons. There was a smell of sewage that kept wafting around. As we sat at the bartop. The atmosphere is pretty laid back. I felt like I was in a fancy manor of some sort. There's nice couches everywhere to sit and a gas fireplace that really adds to the mood. We couldn't decide what to order so I decided an old fashioned with whatever whiskey or bourbon the bartender recommends. We get our drinks and the old fashioned was just bland. If a bar makes a good old fashioned I'll stay a few rounds if not we leave. Three stars for the atmosphere and nice staff but not where I'd go for anything other than beer.

our service was impeccable and what added to it even more was the not only intelligent but smokin' hot lady who helped us out. the drinks she recommended sent us to heaven and back. the vibes were chill and awesome and cool. will be thinking about our mystery woman for many a day to come. long love the red room peace

Went after our SCHS all class reunion. Went to socialize, drink and dance. They even played mexican music! Always liked this place and the fact that they have the red room downstairs and outside seating area too! Can facilitate bigger crowds. Hard to get drinks sometimes.

The DJ was mediocre, the drinks overpriced. Security was okay. Sad that SC has such anemic nightlife, though.

Coming from Los Angeles on a weekend long trip that ended in Santa Cruz, wanted to grab some food and a beer. Ended up finding this place that was the latest opened. ( It was 10pm) place looked run down and the couches smelled like urine. Tried ordering food and didn't have what was on the menu. No one was helpful or welcoming and I think it's embarrassing this place has the word restaurant in it. I'd recommend the people over at Bar Rescue to come check it out. Didn't end up ordering anything and found a much better Italian place.
