The service was amazing, the staff are really kind, especially the one at the front desk! The structure and atmosphere of everything was just beautiful, the vaulted ceiling just add to the experience and the plants were very nice. The food was delicious, I recommend the spring rolls!

The food was all really sauce-y All really well seasoned. Each food item could be finished by one or two people so we bought two pad Thai and two pad see ew for 5 people. The service was good and the people were nice. The store was so cute. There were so many cute decorations.

Sala Thai hit the mark! I've had Thai food all over including its homeland origin and it's been a while since I've had some Thai food that tasted authentic. Service was perfect, sat down and ate within 5-10 minutes, and the vibe of the restaurant felt like I was walking around Thailand again.

Decent service, food is good! Prices are affordable for Santa Cruz. Though portions LOOK small they are very filling, I barely finish a dish of pad Thai there! Appetizers and desserts are a little expensive but main dishes are plenty affordable. Manages a bigger group fairly well! I've come here to eat with the majority of my friend group (8-12) more than once with no trouble.

The food is a generous portion and full of flavor. My favorite are the hot pot soups!

First time coming here, last time for me. I ordered the yellow veggies curry. It was really spicy, asked if we could order another dish with it being not spicy. She said ok. But she just brought out a bowl of soup of yellow curry with no veggies, and said to mix it with my other food. What the heck. Yeah that didn't work, now I have no dinner to eat. Not returning.

Very beautiful restaurant but I was not pleased with the food quality. The chicken didn't taste like chicken, it taste like something else. The texture was off. The food tasted like reheated left overs it didn't have a fresh feel to it. Thai tea was really good, maybe I just caught them on a bad day I'm not sure but other than that really nice people.

I have had it with pretending it's going to get better. Multiple take outs have been missing the correct number of rolls in the shrimp roll appetizer until I walked in and asked how many I'm supposed to receive and it's 6 per order, so I'm down dozens of shrimp rolls. Secondly, I just dined there with friends, my treat, to make sure we got a good portion of food and they never even put my entree order to the cook, even though she repeated it back to me like it was ordered. So not only did I have to ask for the rest of the pho additions that come with my friends soups like the bean sprouts and basil and lime but I had to ask where my dinner entree was, which never came. no one came to ask how things were and I walked up to get my soup additions for my party but then they never apologized and made me feel weird about asking for my dinner to go after everyone was already finished. Wow i have never seen such an h crowded restaurant have no consideration or awareness of customer service. i still tipped 10 percent but no more I mean I paid for dinner and they never served me my dinner. Get it together Sala.

I am OBSESSED with this place. We eat from here on a weekly basis. We love going in to eat because it feels so welcoming and the whole staff are so kind and friendly. They have the best pad Thai and the best yellow curry in the whole Santa Cruz county, in my opinion. Their Thai iced tea is also a product of dreams.

If you're in Santa Cruz and really want thai, you can come here for some kind of cheap food, but don't expect anything great. Pad thai was the only thing I'd actually recommend. I got a spring roll, chicken pineapple fried rice, tofu pad thai and mango sticky rice ($50 total). Spring roll was made up of coleslaw and was kind of lacking. Sauce was okay, but not what you typically think. A lot sweeter The pineapple fried rice was lacking pineapple but fine otherwise. The pad thai was good. Very flavorful, but couldn't make up for everything else. This is what the mango sticky rice looked like... very lacking for $9.

The food was almost as good as our benchmark, Thai Basil in Capitola, and a nicer place to eat. Our pad thai and soup were a bit too sweet. The eggplant was very good. All the veggies were super fresh! The service was fine.
