Great microbrewery. Convenient location on the northern edge of Santa Cruz. Excellent variety of beers on tap & some cans to go.
The staff here are great especially Chelsea & Kyle.

Our party of six was refused service by a rude and sarcastic server. He said we were “cut off” after we had just come in from a long bike ride…not sure what his impression was.
Super rude bartender was sarcastic and refused to give a second beer. Def. Will not be going back here.
While it's every business' right to stop serving customers due to their staffs needs, refusing service to a whole group due to personal (and unexplained) reasons at 6PM creates a lot of questions and concerns regarding the business as a whole. If you're a group looking to plant yourselves and have a good time, perhaps look elsewhere.
Everything about my visit seemed ... mediocre. The beer (I had a Unicorn Tears IPA) was OK. The outside seating area was nice but didn't seem all that welcoming. The day of my visit, there was some kind of amateur stand-up comedian thing going on. Sorry to say, but the mediocre, potty-mounted comedians were not my thing.

Live music and good beer ! 8$ for the pint of strawberry ale, we had a wonderful (and not sober) time !
Excellent selection of really good craft beers. Very comfortable setting. The food was pretty good and enjoyed the visit here.
