Scrumptious Fish and Chips Food Truck

The food here is exceptional, and the service is incredibly warm. The portion of rockfish and chips was generous, tender, and bursting with flavor from the mustard coating and golden fry.

I love stopping here on my bike route to and from Capitola. I definitely want to be a regular! Five stars all around.

Ok so this is a revised review. I gave them one star at first but because the owner responded kindly and quickly to our review he offered to refund our money I now will upgrade this to three stars. However instead of complaining that his fish and chips are terrible I will just say it's not for everyone everyone's taste buds are different simply we are from Morro Bay so we're just used to cleaner fresher different type of fish that uses cornmeal for batter breading. So I apologize if I was comparing one apple to another that was not my intent. The atmosphere was inviting sitting next to a brewery and the two girls working in the truck were extremely friendly I cannot take away from that. The fact that the owner even offered to refund our money I just cannot commend that enough. 🙏

Lunch is the best time to go here. It really crowds up later with lots of kids. Too bad it's only open Saturday. Order early to avoid a long wait.

The fish is off the hook good. I had the rockfish with the french fries and I had it loaded with a Glock and the pickled onions delicious. I had just been at Captain Scott's Lobster dock in New London Connecticut which is also a great place but this fish was better!

Ive had them all over the UK and Edinburgh and these are the best in Cali, no doubt. Its just a small truck so jump on it when they pop up. Batter is crispy and light, the fish is delicate and moist, and the peas are just as they should be. Not sure where the fish is sourced, dont care, they do fish and chips/peas right.

I live on the central coast, close to Moro Bay and love a good fish and chips. While visiting the Santa Cruz area for a camping trip my wife sent me a link to this British fish and chips food truck and I gave it a go at Felton’s farmers market. They knocked this completely out of the park. Perfect crunch, perfect shape (I consider that a thing, not sure who else does) perfect flavors in the batter and fish itself, chips were great, tartar sauce also great and there was a pretty cool curried ketchup. Customer service was friendly and prompt. I live 15 minutes from the ocean and this beats everything at home. No contest. Proper Fish (Bainbridge) was comparable and fish and chips I had in London. I’d make a point to get this if you can, I wish I lived closer but I’ll be back when I can.

Our go-to spit in Santa Cruz for delish fish and chips! The batter is so light and crunchy, the fish is mild and flavorful. The house made curry ketchup is great with the fries. Love the British woman who takes orders. She’s so chipper!

Best fish and chips I have had. Definitely catch them at Humble Sea Brewery on the weekends. Get the rock fish.

This truck often sits at Humble Sea brewery and they consistently deliver solid British fare. I was greeted by a cheery woman with an authentic English accent. It takes 15 min or so to prep your food but it's worth the wait. The fish n chips are their signature dish and it is fantastic. Fish chunks are huge and tasty. Chips are great too. Large portions enough for two or for one hungry cyclist . Mushy peas and pickled onions are also fire.

The tartar sauce is next level and the portions are generous. The yellow-golden beer batter on the flaky fish is heaven. Chunky sized fries balance the meal. Absolutely divine. This Fish & Chips is not to be missed.

Fantastic! Enjoyed the fish and chips very much. The guacamole chips were the best. Copious amounts of pickled onions and guacamole. I have been visiting Santa Cruz for 15 years and just came across this place.
We went at a very busy time on a Saturday. Lots of people eating, and lots of people in line. They apologized for the wait, but obviously it’s busy for a reason. Worth the wait!!

Very very slow. 50 minutes to get my order. They said they would text when it’s ready, but then they failed to do so.
