Security here is a joke.

A family member of mine had a service animal with them and security kept harassing her about. When I confronted the 1st security officer about the harassment and mention a lawsuit her parent started to become belligerent, cussing at me in front of my family and other families. I am extremely disappointed to share that my family’s recent visit to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was overshadowed by a deeply upsetting experience involving my mother, who is legally blind and uses a guide dog. Within minutes of entering the park, was approached by security and told that both she and her service dog needed to wear identifying stickers. Yes, actual stickers while on the property.
