Absolute favorite brunch spot. Have been coming here for 10+ years, it's just so good!! Fast and friendly service in a homey diner setting. Amazingly tasty brunch food, my favorites are the seedy French toast and orange poppyseed pancake specials. The place is pretty small and often has a wait during busy times, but they move parties through efficiently and it's absolutely worth any wait!

Whenever we are in the area, we try to stop at the Silver Spur. It is one of our all-time favorite breakfast spots. This time, I had my kids and grandkids (7 of us), and we were seated and served quickly, even though they were really busy. Everyone enjoyed their meal, whether French toast, a scramble, or eggs benedict. I suggest the home fries, which are the best you will find.
The biscuits and gravy are incredible. Service was outstanding. Only downside is the wait can be awhile to be seated

New to the area, but this feels like a gem probably only people in the area know about and it is has plenty of patrons! Get there early. Food is great and the staff is excellent. It has very wonderful cozy diner vibes.

GREAT breakfast spot that I will surely visit again if I'm in the area. I don't remember how long our wait was during the busy Saturday morning breakfast rush, but we waited patiently and were well rewarded with a tasty meal and super service from our server and all the staff that came by to make sure we had all we needed. On a whim, I ordered gravy on the side to slather all over my scramble, and I was so happy because there was real sausage in the gravy. The delicious food, the super staff, and clean restroom = five stars!

First visit to this local eatery and it was an incredible surprise. We waited about 15 minutes to get in--NBD for this area. Food was outstanding! Eggs benedict was awesome. House made corned beef hazh special was spectacular. Pancakes were light and fluffy and we enjoyed real maple syrup on the side. It was so busy that service and food took awhile but it was completely worth it. Prices were super reasonable--$100 (including tip) for four adults. We will be back!

I travel a lot for work and finding good breakfast is difficult. This diner has a good western omelet “Denver” flavor is great. Eggs in omelet are French style not browned. Homemade salsa is great. My new breakfast spot when I come to Santa Cruz on business!

Had breakfast today at one of my favorite places. I was surprised by my undercooked pancakes I was even more surprised by the total lack of concern by the staff after it was brought to their attention. Absolutely no effort was made to make it right. I hope the next time I go there it will be different.
